If you have security software that really helps. Although like the incident I mentioned in my previous post with the email. Common sense helps a lot too. 😀

I don't click on any spam/adverts I get . Yahoo is great about putting those in the spam box. Gmail rarely ever gets spam. A few weeks back,I got a bunch of moving company spam. Some were addressed to Douglas.

Spam usually winds up in my "Junk" folder. Sometimes real email winds up in there, too, so I look over the senders before deleting it all. 😀 😛

Indeed it does seem to be rare. Especially like I said when people were clicking on emails from VP saying "I Love You". That showed me common sense isnt so common. LOL

Yea always smart never to click on those. The keyword in malware now seems to be "trust". Unscrupulous people trying to find ways to get you to "trust" there attachments or links.

Same here.For some reason,the threads I subscibe to in the model forums gets put in spam on Yahoo. 😀 😛

I got that one (and variations on it, such as a Spanish banking scam) at least a dozen times. 😀 😛
And I'm so lucky that I won lotteries that I never entered in three difference countries.
