I rarely remember my dreams and when I do, they're always weird and sometimes so vivid I swear it's real.

Dreams are actually the way your brain coordinates vision with images. Sort of like quality control. Its why it only happens during the REM (rapid eye movement) phase of sleep. Basically the brain plays back images to the eyes so it can calibrate. Dreams seem like movies but they are actually only composed of several images. The brain fills in a story to make it seem real. 😀 😛

Wow. I didn't know that. It explains why they seem real. One of the most recent dreams I can remember revolved around my telling my dad about going to Michigan, however in the dream his reaction was exactly what I had feared he would have reacted in real life. It seemed so real I actually woke up really upset and feeling like crying. 😱

Wow. I didn't know that. It explains why they seem real. One of the most recent dreams I can remember revolved around my telling my dad about going to Michigan, however in the dream his reaction was exactly what I had feared he would have reacted in real life. It seemed so real I actually woke up really upset and feeling like crying. 😱

They are real in the sense they do involve your thought processes. There is also still a mystery about dreams I think. I remember the day my grandma past away I had a dream about her when she told me how much she liked me and I woke up from the dream at same time they had pronunced her dead. More then a coincindence I think.

The Aborigines (a tribe in Austrailia) beleive dreams are a seperate reality from our own existence and place a lot of weight on dreams. The sci-fi movie called "The Last Wave" is about there dream beliefs and some scary visions one person is having. 😀
