I grew up in a house that stank of tobacco (since both my parents smoked) so I never acquired the habit, wishing to avoid the smell of it.

But to get technical the absence of vice is not sufficient nor required I think to achieve Sainthood. One must perform a miracle or series of miracles in the name of God. 🙂

Getting Sainthood takes a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time I think. Like 50-100 years. 😛 The Catholic church aint known for speed. 😀 😛

It's a good thing not to rush into making somebody a Saint. Careful investigation is required.
