My trains to and from Route 128 Station in Massachusetts were both on time. Quite a happy surprise for riding on Amtrak. 😛
Technically it is not. It is subsidized by the government, unfortunately, but run independently.Wow on time.Must not be government run then 😛

Same here. I'm sure Amtrak would be better if it were privatized. 😀 😛Sounds like the MTA here in LA. And anything that touches base with government tends to suffer at least here it does. 😛

I'm not surprised. Most of the postal workers around here who work inside the post office are quite lazy and have a bad attitude towards the public they allegedly serve. 😱I agree.Private is good. 😀
I hear the post office might have to lay off about 200,000 people and stop Sat service in order to save money. 😱

(Ever hear of a book called Atlas Shrugged? I saw it on wiki looks interesting. )
Yes, Atlas Shrugged is well worth reading even though over a thousand pages in paperback. It clearly illustrates the evils of collectivism. 😀 😛
PS: It was written in the period 1945 to 1957 and it is scary how many things in it have come to pass. 😱
Greetings, Kurch.
I'm fine today and hope all is well with you. 😀 😛
