You can never go wrong with lots of memory. Always comes in handy.

For me the priciest thing is the art type video cards which can run like $500 up to 5000 dollars. I usually try to stay about 800-900 dollars to keep things reasonable. 🙂

Yea I dont need anything that powerful yet.

Game video cards are fast so that when you are trying to shoot all those nasty monsters the graphics can keep up

Art or Workstation video cards are very accurate but not quite as fast, they do a great job at making sure each pixel is the exact color it should be. 🙂

never had to buy any of those cards. But then it's not like I have any video games for my laptop. 😛
