I'm great, Zoddy. I am sunburned, however. I took my itunes with me to the park, and I have a house mix of dance music that I got into and spent too much time outside.
But I really enjoyed that time, so it was worth it. :dancingkitty:

Well, I wish I lived closer so I could help you. They don't have any health insurance or medicare? I know you are doing your best, and I'm sure you are exhausted.

(I see we went to P and R tonight.) This always ends badly. I still remember the time that Zoddy thought his time was about to end here because of a post there, and he gave me his contact info in a rush so we could keep in touch. It still makes me giggle. 😀

They have health insurance but do to Obamacare the insurance company/union is trying to back out of stuff to save money. Funny they did not much that as part of the Obamacare magic that is suppose to happen.

Started another thread in P and R. While you were gone Stockton CA went bankrupt the largest city ever to do so. 😱

I can't believe I'm just hearing about this today. I didn't know that cities could declare bankruptcy, or I guess I never thought that would happen. So all jobs are gone?
No services for the community like trash pick up? All state services just stop? What about the residents with homes? Perhaps I am not understanding things. How does a city go bankrupt?????

I only heard about it yesterday. You wont see it on NBC or CBS. Wouldnt want to embarrass the pres. 😛

All city services stop. All money expenditures stop. Residents can stay in their homes. Not sure about how those still paying mortgages continue to do so. Guess you still pay the bank :shrug:

You are correct. My guess is some nearby cities might assist with fire and police until something can be done.

Dad heard it on the radio and it was in our Valley newspaper. Scary stuff. :shake:
