Sure. Vero Beach, Florida is one such place. Housing is very reasonable and the state income tax in Florida is zero (none) as well. 😀 😛

Alas, the Dodgers are leaving their spring training complex there after the 2008 season. 🙁

For Spring 2009 the Dodgers and the White Sox will occupy a baseball complex to be built in Glendale, Arizona. 😀 😛

Property taxes vary greatly county to county and town to town within any one state. Sales taxes are 6% in Florida, 6.25% in Texas and 6.5% in Nevada. 😀 😛

Slightly worse here, New York State and City combined sales tax is 8.375% 😱
