Well its also stuff like the New CC bill which punishes people who pay their CC statements on time and in full every month.

I hear ya my friend. Took me awhile to figure out it was responsible people paying for all the irresponsible people. One of the few times I posted on P and R was over that bill. 😛

Yea exactly. Its always feeling sorry for the people that mess up. However many who are doing their best to get by and being responsible are in need of help as well. However they just get zapped by more taxes or bills like this that will end up increasing the CC rates.

And they can't be squeezed for much more money.

Yea there is a breaking point. This is why none of the increase tax bills in CA passed. They all lost by big margins. People are fed up.

They have no choice. The tax increases fell through. They were going to try to borrow the money to get out of the deficit but that fell through too. Now they have to make cuts.

High School and Higher Education counts for about 55% of the CA budget

Welfare and Social Programs account 30% of the CA budget.

Thats 85% right there. Seems to me obvious where the cuts need to be made but politicians dont want to do that for fear of not being relected.
