You can try. I beleive you are still quicker then the Grendels. Just be careful. Also Grendels tend not to be too bright that is a weakness though few survive long enough to exploit it.

We will likely run into the Grendels or some sort of summoned army first. Dark Priests do not like to engage in combat directly though they are quite formidable when they do fight.
