I think so.I know her memory is not totally gone.She has her good days,and bad days. Some days I have to wonder what reality she is in.

There is a difference between dementia and alzheimers. Dementia is the better one in that some recognitive abilities are retained. I had one aunt with alzheimers and one now has dementia. 🙁

I have a coworker that we suspect has dementia/Alzheimer's. She's nearly 80 years old, has been working at the store for nearly 2 decades, and in the past two years has forgotten many things. Simple things that are part of our job. I think my boss feels sorry for her because she's very reluctant to actually let my coworker go. 🙁

Thats sad. 🙁 A doctor told me when my one aunt was diagnosed with alzheimers. Alzhiemers is not when you forget your car keys its when you forget you have a car. So its important to get the right diagnosis and then the right meds.
