Yes, it is stealing. They try to conceal that fact by separating the charge for the power and the charge for delivering the power. And I have no choice but to use Con Edison or to have no electric power at all. It is illegal to put a gasoline generator in an apartment. That is why I would like to execute all the executives of Consolidated Edison.

DWP isnt much better here. The last rate increase was supposedly temporary but then they city council said they "accidentally" made it permanent and could not change it back. :disgust:

Did you pay your bills today? I did, so I'm aware of where my money is. National Grid is not much better, although I don't have the paperwork so we can compare rates. 😀 😀

Very true, but I wanted Kurch to know exactly how much we pay per KWH here. (Much more than he does and he believes that he is being robbed.)
