What type are they?

Its a variety known as Bauhinia. I think these little guys are Bauhinia Monandra. Its more commonly know as the Hong Kong Orchid Tree. When full grown it fills up with beautiful pink orchid type flowers.

Its a very stunning tree. Also its seems to have remarkable healing powers. I have had like 5 or 6 people know ask me for seeds or cuttings and most say the tree saved there lives or the life of a loved one. The people have been from various walks of life. Most are from warmer climates like Pakistan or Mexico as the tree is tropical 🙂

The tree I think is sacred to Buddhists or at the very least they like it lot. LOL Mainly I think cause the leaves fold up at night and bend down. So it looks like the plant is in prayer 😛 Very cute 😀

Yea. I spoil them too. LOL Cant help it I am a doting daddy. 😛

I am also growing some widdle baby Cypress Trees. They dont mind the cold so much. They are harder to germinate though as they need 1 month of freezy temps before they will germinate. I put the seed in the fridge for 90 days that seemed to do the trick. I got 5 widdle seedlings now. 😀
