Sahara. That was an M3 Lee tank used in that movie. There was a remake of it with Jim Belushi some years back I have not seen it yet. 😀 😛

I suppose one has to take the remake on its own merits and not compare it to the original.

Exactly. From what the reviewers said,it pretty much stayed to the original. Plus they used the same WW2 tank that was used in the original.
