Ironically I can teach college but not high school.

The politics don't get any better on a college campus, but there's no law regarding college education that says you have to do anything but teach and keep your hands to yourself. The child-rearing mistakes weed themselves out.

I am going to do my best to reduce the whole process to a checklist routine that seven out of eight "techs" can do without having to make an independent decision. That mostly has to do with not promising what you cannot deliver, and not charging for what you have not made good.

I'll be tech number eight. But it could be a year or more before I am ready to sign contractors. I'll be operating out of my home for that long, I suspect.

If I do build something viable, maybe we can talk franchise.

True. Very true. 🙂 The trouble was I was finding people graduating from Harvard and Yale competing with me for Junior College positions. LOL Bleak economy to be sure 😛

I had to redesign it. The new one will be going up in a few months. With the economy and DIY web design apps being so prevalent I needed to change my business around a bit. 😀

I think I understand that. I saw an online presentation recently re Ruby on Rails. Sounds like there will be a lot more junk websites up in the foreseeable future. Do you think you could build a business out of optimizing sites initially developed in the Rails environment?

I think perhaps I can with me focusing on providing content. Like custom 3d backgrounds or custom sounds.The nice thing about content angle is I am suing it for screen savers and wallpapers and other stuff. I take care of both my folks now as well so I am pretty restricted on what I can do business wise.
