Parpenons? Made me think of the Parthenon for a minute. XD We don't know much about the 2-D real, and indeed, few do. However, the Parpenons have been around long enough to be known to the 3-D plane (Or 4-D, Depending on what you believe). They are rumored to be the eldest of the 2-D races, although the truth of that is unclear. They live for a fairly long time, on the order of millenia, and as such they don't reproduce too often to keep their numbers small. Their long lives have allowed them significant advances in many fields of science and philosophy (Although they prefer philosophy, having much time to discuss it.). Because of their 2-D nature, many of their weapons cannot be resisted by the technologies of most beings in the 3-D world. THey have one other field in which they excel: swift travel. They can transport anything or anyone at speeds significantly faster than nearly all other modes of transport from any point to any other, even from points in the 3-D world. They don't get much contact from our world, so any visitors are usually immediately well-liked. They are something of a democracy, with a ruling body sometimes translated as the Pantheon. I'd suggest seeing if THREAD can get an audience with them.

Apparently the assumption made earlier is correct. Azulial is trying to get them to teleport him and his gang to a remote part of the cosmos to let him perfect his Forge and then teleport him back. 😀 😀 😛
