Disney's political lobbying messed up international copyright law and extended it to 70 years. (check out the documentary "RIP! The Remix Manifesto") Safe to say I'm highly suspicious of their ways and methods... And in the long run they will no doubt influence Marvel's products.

In any case, I prefer DC comics anyway. Batman rules! 😉

Yeah, I wouldn't put it pass Disney to try for a Marvel musical. There was a Broadway musical of Superman in the 70's and it bombed, but don't expect Disney to learn from past mistakes.

If they can keep the Diz characters out of their other studios like Touchstone, I think they can smartly let Marvel be Marvel unless the management teams there fail to prove they can run things.

Either that, or the Beauty and the Beast can be remade with the Mutants as the household servants singing their own version of "Human Again".....
