Vlad has a point about privacy. Internet is an open place; just because you can't see people, it doesn't mean you are safe from prying eyes.
We leave tracks as we pass, and people can dig them up even without being hackers.
Past can come haunting us when least expected.
Yes, those guys would fit the description as certified assholes: they pick a forum, expose a few choice threads, and have a go without fearing retaliation.
Their symbol is a grenade, after all. Toss and duck, not the "bravest" way to face issues. Rather, a good way to stir troubles.
Yet... any publicitity is good publicity, as Goodieluver said, so, why bother?
I hope they spend their time exposing real beasts too.
If we are the most awful site they have ever exposed so far, their success rate must be fairly low! 😀
Next time a fresh new users makes a fuss over trivial matters, don't you forget it could be some would-be troll from site like Somethingawful, trying to get some cheap fun at our expenses.
