Thread Hijacking And Off-Topic Sillyness

I've been thinking lately about how there are message boards out there for Islamic Fundamentalists to go and post on, and I'm wondering if threads get hijacked by these Islamic fundamentalists.

Also for anyone who was wondering I actually made this thread so it'd get deleted, so's I could PM a mod and throw the toys out of the pram in a drew70, "If I'd been Mairead or Crystal or any other of the just-past-teenage girls who deign to talk to you you wouldn't have deleted this thread, shame on you for your sillyness on the internets!" type fashion. I couldn't give a fuck about derailing topics; lord knows I do it myself a lot of the time, and to be honest that's part of the reason this place is what it is. Discussions sometimes devolve into banter (friendly or otherwise), and just think what a boring shithole this place would be if the official rules for replying to topics forced everyone to chase the topic up it's own arse with absolutely no deviation.

So yeah, that's my stance on thread hijacking and also my motivations explained. The fact the thread only got moved instead of deleted is a bonus.
