tickle tortured to insanity

Huh, tickled to insanity? I seem to recall reading stories of decedent noble women in the middle ages to the renaissance era having dungeons where peasent women would be spirited away to and the noble woman would keep them their and torment them with all sorts of torments...I believe tickle torture was one of them...the name Cathrine the Great comes to mind in this instance...not sure if that's correct.

I'll put tit to you guys this way.I went to the Ren.Fest several times and looked at the different torture devices and I promise you none of them were tickling devices and they were a lot more painful and invasive.

I remember reading this. I fount it interesting but hard to believe. I think about both sides though. I feel like, "Yeah, sure, someone was tickled into insanity" [/sarcasm]

If, during the tickling, the woman had a stroke from a rapid blood pressure increase and lack of oxygen, then yep, she could have permanantly lost her "reason".

But..... people don't always die of strokes......... sometimes they just have permanent brain damage. Lucky!

What if the person is already Insane. Can one be tickled back to Sanity?

If she was already insane then the tickling did not cause her insanity.Her mother's womb and her birth caused her insanity.
