Tickle Trap - continued!

Hey all!

Roughly two and half a year ago, on April 5th 2008 to be exact, I posted the very first tickle picture on these forums. (in the Tickle Trap series).

My artwork has improved a lot since and with the new direction I am taking now I thought it was a fun idea to make the new start with a redo of the original picture!

I will post the old picture here as well as comparison. I'm actually surprised I was able to draw the feet so well already then! Anyway, the new picture has a higher precision, more detail and of course the character looks better proportioned. Not all my new work may have as realistic lookiing shapes as this one, it will depend a bit on the piece.

Last but not least, I think some of you will be happy to see that I tricked Jennifer McCrow into showing off this tickle trap!

Thank you! This is not a 'revamp' of the series however. I only redid the very first one as a sort of bonus. This next one (as well as upcoming tickle traps) will be brandnew! And yes, Jen had a nice break. She won't be featured in all the traps either.

Ah, some people missed her, I had understood. I thought she was the right person too, to be portrayed in this, which is my initial idea that I posted here. She's become so much my signature character that she deserves that honour.

Thanks! The belly button change was merely a bit of variation. If you compare both pictures (the original and the renewed) you see plenty of differences there. I didn't want to mimic the old picture as close as possible, just give the whole thing a new breath.

Hehe, not sure. But I guess a couple of minutes won't be so bad for her. A bit of laughter and action may give her the stress release she needed to get more out of her studies! 😉

Thank you. And there will be more. In fact, I have drawn the next one too, but need some time to clean it up and give it some colour before you see it. In the meantime I should finalize and post the next page of Feet and I'm working on a very special project for in the next month (unrelated to traps).

I try to cover different areas from time to time, some areas more than others and mostly it just depends on what is most fitting/convenient for the given situation.

But, if you want to see some serious belly action, you can always commission it. That way you get to see drawn exactly the situation you personally want to see, without having to just hope that someone sometimes draws a scene that almost matches your personal preferences.

But this year I'm pretty done with the Xmas theme! I did a whole calendar featuring 15 characters, the xmas card above and a piece of art trade with someone (non-tk) that was also xmas themed. More than enough for a year!
