I can dig your situation, Adam, and I applaud that you thought to apologize. Consider it accepted, gladly. It's a pain tryin' t'connect via personals, here or anywhere, brother. That's why many do the "gatherings" laps. Not only do ya find REAL women, right in front of you, that will actually converse, but once you're known t'be sane and clean, reputation alone works in your favor.
Realize that I ain't pretty, and I've dated a number of folks through the gatherings, and even through personal contact starting as friends with some folks. If my scruffy mug can get by, strictly on bein' a known safe person with some amount of acceptable personality, well, most any of us can.
It's why I run both Personals AND Gatherings.
Thanks for understandin' my desire to keep what connections in the personals are made as positive. As tpaplus has indicated, some folks don't dig that the personals, here and everywhere else, don't usually work like that.
