One thing I don't like so far is the way attachments launch now. I got use to them opening in a new tab in Firefox. Now they load in the same tab as the thread. It's not a big deal, it's just that after getting use to the other way I keep wanting to close the tab instead of hitting the back button. It'll take some getting use to.

Attachments are set to open in a new tab or window, so this should not be happening. I'll look into it.

It was the Image Lightbox option that was automatically enabled after upgrading. Attachments should be opening as they have before.

Yes it's working as before now.

Another issue though. I uploaded a couple of photos and I see the error pictured in this attachment when uploading. The file still uploads fine though.

Hmmm, couldn't find a fix for it right now. I'll research it later on today, it could very well just be the old style causing the issue with the use of the older templates. We'll see... anyway... :tired:

If you're referring to the buddy list on the forumhome page it's because I had to recreate the side bar (you'll notice it looks different), and I haven't been able to re-incorporate that function back into it yet.

I like a couple ideas here--we tried a chatroom before and it flopped, but I'd really like to see it work. Also, while I agree that the blue is nice and calming, it would be cool to have it be able to change, or even be random every time you signed in--that's from a purely personal visual standpoint thar.

As for making people post, I'm not really sure if it's a good idea. Some people, especially people who've just recently found TT and the tk community in general, might still feel like they're the only normal person out there--I know I felt that way 'til I got dragged by the ear to postdom (no offense, Socks😀) The power of 10 rule was veto'd, and bringing it back would probably make more trouble than solve it--that's not to say we couldn't figure out some other system n_n

I love the ideas for cosmetic changes like colour schemes, logos etc (although I love Tomato Dragon's logo too). Am genuinelly looking forward to seeing the site's new look. 🙂

As for the several comments about having extra sections for feet and nylons, I hate to be a party pooper, but I think that'd cause more trouble than anything. We all know that there's already some tension between "foot" people, "upper body" people, etc, and while at the moment, in fairness to TT it doesn't give preferential treatment to any of these people, if the site DID start catering to one, everyone else would expect the same thing. If you open a foot section, the upperbody fans will want an armpit section, a rib section, a chest section, then the foot people will want a nylon section, a sock section, an arches section a toes section etc and it'll be chaos. As it is, material is nice and easy to find via the search engine (which may be the greatest feature on this site, btw) and nobody feels like anybody else is being prioritized. Just my thoughts; of course, at the end of the day, it's up to TT and the admins. 😛

One log-in should be required, provided you check the "Remember me" box. When the update was performed all old cookies became worthless.

The admins are in full agreement with you on this. We would prefer that members label their threads clearly, and take advantage of the new tagging system that allows members to add keywords to their threads for even easier searching.
