I was at the local comic book shop today,before I had to visit my step dad in the hospital. The owner's wife bought in their five month old baby boy. He was dressed up as Batman.

I thought he looked more like Bat-Mite. 🙂
 
Getting ready to leave tomorrow to go see my family-mother, stepfather, sisters, brother, and niece (oh and my sisters boyfriend/nieces father). It's always a hassle going and my moms drinking isn't pleasant, but it's worth it for my siblings and young neice! Senshi and I will be gone from tomorrow (Tuesday) and come home Saturday, so well probably be around again Sunday.

I'm sort of dreading the car ride a little bit (paranoid about our vehicle breaking down), but it will be nice to get away from work for a few days. Feel like I've been living there, lately.

As for me I've just been working on commissions pretty much nonstop lol... almost forgot about Thanksgiving, yikes. Hopefully we'll get to do something for it. Would be nice to have a bit of time out I guess.

So hubby was involved in a four vehicle smash up two weeks ago on the interstate...traffic between here and Charleston can be murder during rush hour...and traffic has been known to stop on the st alban's bridge...well the vehicle behind hubby couldn't stop in time...slammed so hard into hubby's suv that it pushed his car not only into the car in front, which pushed that car to the right, but then his suv traveled further down the inner lane near the railing, hitting the car in front of that other car all along the right side.

The SUV was totaled...thankfully hubby was not hurt, though.

Thankfully,I made it home from the Buckeye state. No Griswold type of adventures on the way home. I wonder if anyone will get that reference.

Traffic was heavy,but people behaved for the most part.
 
Performing a quick check on my phone from the guest bedroom at my family's house, had to say a few things-izzy, were really glad your hubby's ok! Sorry you had to go through that 🙁

Just got home safe x_x what a drive. I love my family and all, but it's SO GOOD to be home. Just a quick note to say Senshi and I are safe, see ya'll tomorrow hopefully!
