Uh, excuse me, but Canadian women as a whole do shave their legs and armpits, or in some cases get rid of their hair by chemical means or electrolysis. Those who don't are a minority. Same as in the US, really. What you suggest in the title of your post is ridiculous. It's entirely possible that you're only kidding, but it sure doesn't show in your post.

To this question I have two answers, depending on how I feel: no, and hell no.

I've known only one 'lee with hairy pits: Rose at Passive Arts. Lotsa fun everywhere else, she was, but when I got to those hairy pits of hers a little part of me died. Yech.
 
No, I'm not a fan of the fuzz either, and yes, I bend to our cultural norms and keep mine hairless as well (and based on what I see in this thread, it's a damn good thing I do, or men would flee like I had leprosy!).

But isn't anyone else just the least bit uncomfortable with the fact that we apparently demand that women do this this rather unnatural thing to themselves just so that we won't find them repulsive? As if an adult woman in her natural state was something disgusting to behold? :ermm:
 
DO NOT WANT

This past weekend I did a shoot with a new model. She said she was going to shave before the shoot but I guess she didn't. Nor did she take a shower or put on deodorant.

That shit was nasty!! I tried to grin and bear it since she was very ticklish, but when I smelled her body odour and realized that the bottoms of her feet were rough as old shoe leather, I terminated the shoot. She won't be getting a call back. How disrespectful was it to show up for something like that unwashed, unshaven, and totally uncared for?!
 
I keep myself hair free but my husband is hairy all over and I like it. It does seem like a double standard that its ok for men and gross for women. My personal preference when it comes to women would be hair free. I like the smoothness.
 
How hairy are we talking about here? I suppose if the hair was minimal and she had recently showered (was clean and everything), then eh.

But I prefer people- both men and women- to keep their underarms clean and shaven. I myself feel unclean if I go for too long without shaving, so... I guess that's why. *Shrugs*
 
Wow. I guess I'm in the tiny minority. I actually like hairy armpits. Unfortunately, I very rarely get to see them, let alone play with them, because everyone around here, men and women alike, seems to think it is disgusting for a woman to be unshaven.

Luckily, I also like smoothly shaved or waxed armpits as well, so I'm not unhappy. 🙂

Now, stubbly armpits on the other hand, that's just no good at all!
 
Not for me - it's a matter of personal cleanliness and hygiene to me.
 
I've no problem with women with hair there as long as it's silky like mine. I don't touch most men's because the hair is usually too coarse and sweaty. I'll gladly hotwax their armpits before tickling them.
 
Reading through this thread I was quite amused by the rumors about hairy armpits being common in Central Europe :wow:
Well, I've lived in Central Europe all my life and I can assure you, hairy armpits are as much an exception over here as they are in the states.
Can't help but wonder where some people get their knowledge from 😉
 
I cant say id be a fan of hairy armpits. The same way a girl must not appritiate when she is going down on a guy and he doesnt trim the hedges. Or a guy going down on a girl for that matter. I think a gal with hairy armpits would have to find a guy who has a fetish for it. Or just a guy who is so desperate for female companionship that he will just not have any standards.

It all comes down to personla preference.
 
People are making a way bigger deal about underarm hair than they need to. Don't assume that unshaven underarms are less hygenic, anymore than an uncircumsized male is automatically unclean; it depends on how clean that person keeps their body, not how often they use the razor or whether they were snipped as a baby...

Don't get me wrong, I much prefer the visual of a shaven underarm, mostly because that's what I'm used to. Having said that...I have a lot of yummy experience tickling both guys and girls with hair under there. First because when i was growing up most girls around me and in my family didn't shave there until we were in our very late teens. Then I went to college in Vermont and hung out with a rather crunchy/hippie/natural crowd; I knew more than a few girls who trimmed but didn't shave, especially the light blondes. One of the funnest (yes that's a word durn it) things is to lightly, lightly mess with the downy, fine underarm hair; people who don't shave there usually don't touch that skin much at all othe than washing, and it can be WAY more sensitive than an underarm that gets scraped by a razor every other day. In fact you can drive them *insane* just by gently twirling your fingertips in the hair, you don't even have to touch the skin :devil2:.

I certainly understand the preference for shaving, I lean that way myself; but don't underestimate how lovely and soft the underarm hair can be, or the off-the-meter ticklish reactions you can get from such a furred hollow :3poke:

I didnt think anyone was making a big deal out of the issue. Its just a personal preference, nothing more. I dont think we need to try to convince anyone that they should like one over the other. Makeup yer own mind folks!
 
I'm going to el paso on the hairy underarms myself but to each his/her own.😉
