Ticklishness and freckles?

Have you found that people with a lot of freckles tend to be very ticklish? Among the relatively limited number of people that I have tickled, the few that have had a lot of freckles have been very ticklish. Is that just a coincidence, or has anyone else here found the same thing?

i think it's a coincidence. i have yet to meet anyone who's as ticklish as i am, and i have no freckles.

As much as I like to stay away from stereotypes, I think there might be something to this one. As Emily says, it doesn’t necessarily mean they are anymore ticklish, but from my experience a fair-skinned freckly lass virtually has the words “extremely ticklish” tattooed to her forehead. And I hope I’m never proved wrong.

I think Ticklishness does not dependent on skin pigments... 🙂

I gotta go with no on that. I've dated girls with freckles and without and probably couldn't say either one is more ticklish. Just depends on the girl.

Well, I certainly wouldn't know.

However, I don't see how spots on the body, created by either the sun or just genetics, can make one's skin more ticklish. It's like saying people with blue eyes are more ticklish than people with green ones. It depends on the person, really.

In my experiences thus far I have found that people with a lot of freckles have been rather ticklish but I have no idea on whether their percentages are any higher than non freckled people I have encountered. The only reason I think I may have noticed at all is because I have freckles myself.
