Tifa Lockheart tickles Aeries Gainsborough (Final Fantasy 7)

Well, the time has come for another update.


Update-

- Created album for Final Fantasy in the Photos section.

- Uploaded 1 picture of Tifa Lockheart tickling Aeries Gainsborough.

- Also added the picture to the Files section for full-sized viewing.


The picture is of Final Fantasy 7's Tifa Lockheart and Aeries
Gainsborough, where Tifa is tickling Aeries so that Aeries will
leave Cloud alone, so Tifa can have him all to herself. Yuffie spies
on the two of them in curiousness.

This is my first time drawing Tifa, and Yuffie (even if you can only
see Yuffie's head), and only my second time drawing Aeries.

How do you like them? I'm really proud of this picture. 🙂

I have now fulfilled FF7Tickler's request, as this was it (minus
Yuffie, I threw her in last minute because it adds more atmosphere
to the picture I think, and sets things up for the next few
pictures.)

Even if this picture hadn't been requested, I would have drawn it
eventually, because even though I really don't know anything about
this game other then the characters and the general plot, I still
like the characters and the character designs. 🙂

You can look forward to more Final Fantasy art in the future. Stay

@ Krokus- Thank you, I am. I'm also proud of the fact that its completely original as is the pose. And I only used a reference picture of Tifa to make sure I was drawing her clothes correctly. 🙂


@ critterlord- Thanks again for your continuing support, my friend. 🙂 Hmm, well I'm not sure what I'm going to do next, as I'm going to investigate another request someone asked. But all that person asked was if I was taking requests again yet. I haven't answered them yet, as it is on a different forum, the ATF.

However, is there any type of picture you had in mind? Any monster of preference, and what character would you have wanted to be tickled by this monster? I'd need to know these things before I give the request any more thought (in order to be fair to that other person whom I haven't gotten to yet.) Once I get his request, and you post yours, I'll decide between the two.


@ ralzeil- Thank you, I'm glad to have my own style. Its what makes artists unique. Just think how boring it would be if everyone drawed the same.

On a side note, I'd like to point out that I thought that by posting my thread in both forums that it would increase responses and viewings. I'm glad that that is the case. 🙂 Its also a comfort to know that I wasn't being ignored, but rather overlooked by accident. While I knew the original artwork forum generates more hits then the anime media forum does, and that perhaps that was the problem I was having, I still believe that for some individuals it was intentional. People that draw anime style artwork should post it in the proper forum to balance the ammount of hits per forum. Everyone just uses the original artwork forum by some default. I feel this site isn't being used optimumly, and because of that, it caused me to believe people were ignoring me, and even if that isn't the case as it seems now, I was still overlooked by this forum error.

We need to balance it out people, so that what happened to me doesn't happen again, or to other people. Its also good for the site overall. 🙂

I would like to request a three charactor ticklee, with Lime, Cherry, and Bloodberry. You can get more info and better pics if you click on the characters names. If three ticklees is too much, just go with Lime. She would enjoy it the most.

As per the tickler, I would like to have a very cartoonish dragon. The method of the tickler should be, if you use all three, all the girls tied in the air by vines, with the dragon licking the soles of Lime, brushing the soles of Cherry with his brush-like tail, and simply using one claw to tickle the bare feet of Bloodberry. One a side note, all girls should be in the costumes shown in the pics, and all should be barefoot.

If you just go with Lime, she should be trapped in the coils of the dragons tail, as her bare feet get it from the dragons tongue.

A friend of mine really likes this series too, and I've made avatars and signature banners for her before for this series. I've never seen it, but both of you seem to be fond of it. 🙂

However, I hate to do this to you, because like I said, I hate saying no to people, but I'm going to have to pass and say no on this one. I'm really sorry. 🙁

The problem is the factors of the picture. If I'm not mistaken, the marionettes are just that right? So how would they have the sense of touch? The fact that they are robot-like or more like androids is sort of a problem right off the bat.

Another problem is the complexity of the request. Theres just too much going on, and to be honest, I'm not ready for so much. Reason being I've never drawn the characters before (like all of the ones I've drawn so far), theres 3 of them, and theres this dragon.

The dragon is another factor which makes the scene or situation un-realistic. In fact, are there even dragons in Saber Marionette J? Even if there were, a dragon just wouldn't seem to fit.

A good example of a monster tickling someone from an anime (in my opinion) would be Deedlit, Pirotess, Shiris, Leaf, Ryna, or maybe even Neese tickled by say something not so huge, like an orc, a goblin, dark elves, or trees/plant life. For them to be tickled by say a dragon (which would have to be Shooting Star, or Narse) would be sort of impossible, un-realistic, and sort of silly. You already know how I stand on pictures as far as the reality or realism of them is concerned, so I won't go on about it. But I hope you understand where I'm coming from.

I'm sorry to have to decline it like that, but your request as it is, just isn't going to work out. I'm sorry.

Do you have any other ideas? I'm willing to hear you out until we find something a little more reasonable that I can work with.

In my defense, not that I need it, I'd like to finish this post by saying to you and everyone that I may not have quick updates like the others artists here, but if you've all noticed, my art, per piece, tends to have a more detailed quality, and the fact that I put my best into it is reflected in the picture and in the time it takes to produce a single piece. So what I'm saying is, I don't think your request is dumb or anything my friend, I think its cute. But the problem is, if I were to draw it, it wouldn't be my best, I would have to either rush it, or take up a considerable ammount of time with it (time in which I may have been able to produce 2 pictures). I want to offer everyone only the best that I can. I've told people on my group, on other sites, and even here that you won't get half-assed pictures from me or so called "sketches", and I pride myself on my worksmanship. To give anything less then my best would be unacceptable for me.

I'm sure my fans (even though a majority of them are silent, though I wish they weren't), and other artists can understand and appriciate that.

Don't Worry About It

I have never really had a request done, so I kind of went for the gusto. However, I would like to clarify. THe Marionettes are in fact robots, but they have a special maiden chip that allows them to feel emotion and pain, so why not tickling? Also, there are lots of dragons on their planet, only big horrendous ones, not cute like the one I had in mind. As for other ideas, I guess I'll have to turn back to my stories.

I would like to try another scene from my first story, The Furry Friend Part One. If you could, could you read the story at my group, in files and my stories. It would mean a lot to me. Then, look at the picture at the homepage of my group. That is FF. If you need a better describtion of Silvia and Peek, I have the charactors they were based off of right her, in the form of Ihrie and Fam.

As you may guess, Ihrie is the model for Silvia and Fam is the model for Peek. I have also borrowed their personalities, so you might want to take a closer look.

Here is my request, in layman's terms.
Setting: a cave.
Ticklees: Peek and Silvia (Fam and Ihrie)Should be barefoot.
Tickler: FF
Place of tickling:Feet.

Howzat! If you like it, I could definetely go for this. If not, I'll think somemore. And if I ever start talking too much, just tell me to shut up, as I am presuming too much to even talk to someone of your calibur.

Critterlord's stories are indeed very good, aren't they? I urge you to read the other parts of the FF when you have the chance. My own ego requires me to add that Critterlord's style and approach were heavily inspired by mine, which he has kindly acknowledged. I'm rather pleased to have helped spawn a genre, however small. Critterlord has his own unique ideas, which he's developing very well. In my opinion, the most recent part of the FF saga was especially good.

I'd be curious, Celtic_Emperor, to know what you think of my own tales, when you have a chance to look at them. (A new one, the 14th, is nearly done and coming soon.)

Also, I am not placing you on a pedistal. You are a great artist, and from what I have seen, it is only getting better. If I seem to sing about your glory, it is only because there is something worth singing about.

Hmm, another idea. Well, I am simply full of ideas. Let me run this past you, but first, a little background story.

While I have the gift of gab, I have always wanted to be a great artist. I spent years dreaming of becoming a cartoonist. Then, I realized that I was born with no artistic talent. I got over it, and moved on to writing, and the rest is history... or was it. I started fequenting here, and fell in love with many of the great artists. Now, I find myself wishing to be a great artist, but I have neither the time, no the skill. But I have hope, that one day, I will place my affairs in order, and start learning how to draw anime. But for now, I am about to give you a preview, that no one else has seen, of an idea that I have. While I was hoping to save this for my own someday artwork, I have decided to run it by you.

Have you ever heard of Warcraft. Well, if not, it is an interactive game of mythical creatures waging war on one another. One of the races was created just for fun. It is called the pandaren, and I have a link to their description here.

The claws on the end of their fingers are just perfect, and their personalities are just playful enough to appreciate the kind of joy we dish out. As for the ticklee, any cute female mage, complete with white robes. And, as you should know by now, she should be barefoot.

Oh, and Celtic, don't just think that there is only us with the clean tickling fun. There are also Dark Convoy, EmSeeSquared, Meachr, and many others. We are either starting to spread, or are simply joining a growing legion of everyday, friendly neighborhood ticklers.

I'm continuing to talk to this other person about what they want, and its almost made up. I'll probably be drawing someone from the Irresponsible Captain Tylor ( a series which I will cover anyways).

So I'm figuring the reason we're having a problem figuring out a request is that your being original. What we need to do is think more along the lines of anime series and thats all. Not a story, or an original idea. We can save that for later. Everything will have its time and place. 🙂


Lets see, in order for this to not keep going on and on all I can do is suggest animes to you that I feel confident enough to draw from. Sigh....hmm, theres any series you see on my group, and I think I could maybe do Slayers, even though I haven't done that yet....umm...pretty much anything I've already covered. If theres a picture you'd like from any of those, that would probably be alright.

Sorry to have you have to settle like this, but your patience will be worth it, and you'll have something to hold you over. 🙂



One more thing that I will admit, I too do this for my fans, but I also do it for myself. To prove to myself that I can, and to find some satisfaction for myself. No, of course he's not "stealing my thunder"; I would never accuse him of any such thing. What I meant is simple enough: when Critterlord began, he started by asking my permission to use themes and ideas from my stories to construct his own -- which he has done very well, and he has grown far more independent since his first efforts. So, yes, he began by being "heavily inspired" by my stories, as he very freely admitted, as his first batch of stories were all contributions to my group. (I liked the fact that the stories that are mentioned as having been told to the Furry Friend by the Veiled Lady to inspire him to tickle were all my stories! That was a touch I really appreciated.)

In fact, especially early on, he gave himself too little credit for his own tone. His own style has developed very nicely, especially in his most recent stories.

I LOVED IT!!! I may have already mentioned this, but I love greek myths. So many cool monsters, and deserving maidens. If I remember, there are quite a few maidens who did nasty things that they should be forced to repent, not the least being Hera, the goddess. PS if you are looking for someone to come up with another great tickling monster, try Hermes the god of trickery, or Didnious (badly spelled) the god of wine. Also, since Zeus is kind of permiscuous, and since Hera is quite jealous, she could seek a way to find vengence upon Zeus's lovers, and the plan could backfire. Just some ideas.

Delighted you enjoyed it, my friend! I wasn't sure how it would come across, since it has less actual tickling than some of the others. The set-up is the key element, and some might find it long-winded. Personally, I think the buildup to tickling is often my favorite part of stories.

I came across this legend recently while researching the historical Troy, and the moment I saw the bit about Heracles having to rescue young Hesione from a sea monster, after she's been chained to a rock for sacrifice... It was too good a situation to pass up. I rather like the idea of Poseidon having a "defective" monster that he's a bit worried about. 😀

Yeah, I haven't watched many animes either. Buts its more out of me being picky and choosy then anything else.

Out of those, I have 3X3 Eyes the dvd collection. All the others I've heard of too. However, I was hoping that you would choose from something I've already covered, which is what I was implying in the last post.

Hmm... do any of the characters from the animes I've already covered interest you? Or is the problem that you know nothing about them?

What I might try and do is draw both requests, not that what he (the other person) asked for was a request because I would have drawn it anyways. I'm pretty much set on what I'm going to draw next, I just want to get more ideas in if I can.

I just wish this was going faster and smoothly. Taking requests aren't as easy as they used to be.

Hmm, what kind of a picture did you have in mind? If its simple enough I might be able to do both pictures. I already have one 3X3 Eyes picture on my site, but its old, and my skills then aren't what they are now. As for the other requestee, don't worry about that, he more or less suggested instead of requested. And as I said, I would have drawn it anyways eventually.
