TMF Fantasy Football Leagues...SIGN UP NOW, information in this thread

Last year we had 2 very successful fantasy football leagues.

20 teams, great drama, and some winners.

This years winner of the leagues will again receive a tickling video courtesy of one of RobAce Radio's sponsors..and maybe a little something extra.

Last year some people that played were confused about the players slots and point values, so let me remind everyone to check the league settings.

Lastly, this time I am opening 2 separate types of leagues, due to last year some people not liking the option with defensive players.

So league #1 is called TMF Fantasy League DP.
This league is set up as a 10 team league initially, I will expand it to as many as 12.....after that I will create another league using Defensive Players.
It is basically the same league as last year.

I have opened up a second league for 10 teams that will use Defensive Players.
Here is the new info:
TMF Fantasy League DP2
League ID#: 155006
Password: canyouwinit
DRAFT TIME: LIVE ONLINE DRAFT Sunday, August 23rd at 10pm EDT.

If the second league only has 2 more teams, then it will combine with league 1, giving a total of 12 teams. If more than 2 other teams join then I will ask anyone interested in another team to join it, but not until August 19th.

The second league is called TMF Fantasy League 2 will feature two differences from the first league.
This is set up as a 12 team league with 3 divisions of 4 teams.
Also this league will use defensive teams and no individual defensive players.
To sign up for this league go to yahoo and use the following:

Password: winitall
DRAFT TIME: LIVE ONLINE DRAFT Sunday August 30th at 9:00pm EDT.

You may play in both leagues if you choose since they are different rule sets.

When either of the leagues fill up and you can not join I will open another one, just send me PM or post a note in this thread. Also, for team names let there be something of your TMF Handle in it, it will make it easier for me to remember whom is whom.

Also for anyone interested, that wants to play in a LONG TERM LEAGUE, I will be opening a Keeper League soon as well, those of you that play in this years league let me know when you sign up in this thread if you want to participate in a keeper league. That league I would like everyone to have input on rosters and scoring before we make it official. So the first 9-11 others that want a keeper league we can do it.

It`s all in the league once you sign up , It has always been head to head in the past; I am sure Rob will correct me if I am wrong

There is no link. Go to yahoo and use the information that Robace gave you. You go to join custom league and put that information in and pick a team and there you go. 🙂

Thanks...I didn't know where the league was being hosted at, but I think I'm gonna have some fun with this regardless. See if the young buck can outclass the old guys...thought I doubt that's gonna happen.

Yes Flock is correct, it is all based on Win and Losses head to head.

And the league is yahoo fantasy leagues. Just go to yahoo, then to sports, and then to fantasy. Click on join a custom league or invited and enter the information.

If you are still having problems, shoot me a PM with your email address and I will email you an invitation to the league.

You must have an account with YAHOO to be able to sign up and play.
But its free and shouldn't be an issue to join up.

See you all there...happy to see already 7 teams in the DP league and 3 in the Team Defense only. That's great for the first 10 or so hours of them being open.
Remember you can play in both leagues if you like. You do not have to choose one or the other.
And its good to see some interest in a keeper league. Looks like I may be opening that during the weekend.

Keep it up all. This is already shaping up to be a HUGE season.

Just personal preference that I decide not to pick individual players on defense, I think it makes things overly complicated and kinda sucks the fun out of it. I just prefer to take my chances with a team rather than one player on D.

No problem Skinfan. Last year just as this year I had the Individual Defensive players and team defenses on the same team. Where you pick a team defense and a combination of 7 Individual defensive players.

A few people had mentioned that they had not done it that way before and enjoyed the league, but would rather not have had the IDP's. So this year I wanted to make sure everyone was happy, and run the league both ways.

Glad to see you aboard...and storm...I knew ya would be around!

Okay....lets see how fast this one fills up.
Right now only players that do not have a team should enter this league. If you already have a IDP team, please do not register another IDP team. If we need a few more teams to fill out this league by August 19th, I will open it up to anyone to get a second team if they would like.

However anyone is still welcome to open up a team in the Team Defense 4 team/3 division league.
Also, if the new Defensive Players League (DP2) has only 2 teams join, then it will combine with league #1, for a total of 12 teams in league 1.
If more than 2 (even if its 3) are in league DP2 then I will ask anyone that wants to if they would add a team to league #2, but not until August 19th.

We caught up with the coach to get his thoughts on what has happened

Goodieluver: Its been a tough offseason for me, personally. We started the season very rough losing our stud QB Tom Brady, even tho we destroyed the roughriders in the first week without him. Its always the burden of being the team with high expectations to repeat as champions. We had an amazing season with what we were dealt, but sadly some questionable personnel moves which I can only blame myself in my doubts cost us a repeat and led to the riders taking the win for the glory. It personally made me question my stance in the universe, to be dealt such amazing talent and not take them to the final game again, it hurt. I questioned the future and even contemplated retiring. I took some time off to reflect and read from many books and sources of philosophical and religious basing ::insert file photo:

to see what my future held. It was also hurtful how the town seemed to turn on the team and me for the letdown we let them :insert file photo:

But I did my best to try and focus on what was best for the team, myself and my dog. :insert file photo:

i decided to stay and keep coaching and begun a rigorous training regimen for my men. I am confident that once again the Springfield Zephyr will once again be hoisting the trophy down evergreen terrace! So with the potential for the Olympics:insert file photo:
