1. How'd you choose your TMF screenname?
I didn't want to use my regular online username out of fear to be found out. We've all been there, or well most of us have, so I hope you can relate to the irrational paranoia... LOL! Anyways, I had no idea what username I should pick, but I was playing Baldur's Gate 2 like CRAZY at the time (my favorite computer game, by the way), and "Carsomyr" is this maxed out two-handed sword you can get there...

I figured it sounded badass enough just in case I one day WOULD make a post or two, and it wouldn't be hard to remember if I was away from the forum for longer periods of time. In lack of better options, Carsomyr it was!
2. What were your first impressions of TMF and how have they changed since then?
Being used to your average online forums with more or less popular members, I was a bit cautious at first as I considered the more well-known people on here to be "big shots" as opposed to the "regular" members. For example I was a bit surprised that so many of these supposed big shots posted in my introduction thread, but it didn't take me long to figure out that things are WAY different here!
The TMF is definitely the friendliest community I have found online - uh... excluding P&R which is one of the most bizarre forums I have ever seen! XD Other than that though, this place is awesome. The only knock I have on it is that sometimes people here can have a bit of a "high school mentality", especially if there's an argument that gets heated. But eh, when it comes to immaturity I'm guilty as charged, so... "throw the first stone" and all that. I guess it's only human, and I doubt any person can keep their cool ALL the time.
😉
3. Who was the first person you started talking to on TMF?
RUNOFFSTAGE and I started talking pretty much right after I delurked, and I guess that's what convinced me to REALLY get active here. Good times!
🙂
4. You've won a million dollars, but you have to give half to a charity organization. Which charity do you choose?
I seriously don't trust charity organizations anymore, but I suppose I could donate it to BRIS, which is an organization that helps Swedish children who need advice and support, and have no one else to turn to (an example being if they get abused/beaten at home). I would also consider donating part of the money to cancer research, so I'd probably split the donation in half for those two causes.
5. What would you do with the rest of the $500,000?
I spend it. Duh!
One thing I'd do would be to attend NEST, and maybe go visit some other TMF'ers in person, like Twinny.

Oh and I'd bring Leafy, Tex, and whoever else wants to come along to attend the Stanley Cup Playoffs!
6. When, if ever, do you think it is okay to tell a lie?
I'd be careful with telling lies at all, because that usually escalates when you have to tell even more lies to cover for the ones you already told. That's a slippery slope, but of course there's exceptions when you might have good reason to lie. I won't give examples though, because that's better kept on a case-to-case basis with common sense to guide you.
7. Excluding romantic love, when was the last time you told someone you loved them?
If my cat counts, then today as we took him to the vet to have him put to sleep.
🙁
8. What would be harder for you, to tell someone you love them or that you do not love them back?
If it's straight to the face then I might have a hard time telling someone I love them even if they just told ME the same thing. Telling someone I
don't love them back is a gazillion times easier, because then I don't have to open mysef up emotionally in the same way. Don't expect me to let them know gracefully though, because I can be pretty socially awkward at times.
9. What do you consider to the most valuable thing you own: when you were a child? a teenager? and now?
As a child: My computer.
As a teenager: Didn't have such a thing.
Now: My life. I came pretty close to suicide at one point, so yeah.
10. If you could have been told one thing that you weren't told when you were a teenager, what would you like to have heard?
It's going to be alright; just hang in there.
