Tobias Hackner--a name that was more than just a source?

I was told by more than one person in the early days of the tickling community that the name "Tobias Hackner" had a symbollic meaning to it. Most recall him to be a swindler and there are many thread testimonies to that effect but i also heard that it was actually the name of a man in the US who had "tickled his wife to death." Anyone else ever hear that? Is there more to the name than just a swindle? thankyou

Never heard that particular angle. He wrote to me that was his pen name, therefore all transactions needed to be done in ca$h.

Tobias Hackner

A few have taken the name over the years... I remember reading years ago in the Enquirer about a man named Tobias Hackner that tickled at least one wife to death. This may have taken place around the turn of the Century. I also believe that the crime or crimes took place in Austria.
