No need to convince someone about anything-- just ask them and let them make their own mind up.
Plenty of people out there LOVE tickling- so why worry at all!

Not saying specfically to you fire, just more in general -

I'm not sure the whole "they hate it because they had a bad experience" thing is so wise. It's right up there with "she isn't ticklish because the right tickler hasn't done it". There seems to be a bunch of guys out there who can't just accept that not all people like tickling or are ticklish. If they say they don't like being tickled or after a bit of testing obviously aren't ticklish it's best to just leave it and not try to force it upon anyone, lest you ruin a friendship, date or what ever. Good call from the starter of this thread on this date then, wasn't going anywhere and you handled it well.

I agree. No sense drilling for oil where there's no evidence of any.
