Rachel nodded when she heard Vega's request. "Yes, I will accompany you and leave when I have to." She hardly knew this man but it was a certain charm, coupled with the fact that he saved her, that continued to make him look like someone she could trust. She had to admit that she was curious to know what Vega wanted to say before he trailed off, but that would have to wait till later. Right now, her main concern is to follow Vega and see where he was headed. As long as he was not going to Halthrea.

Speaking of Halthrea, could Vega have been a mercenary sent by her father? As soon as the thought came to mind, there were some feelings of suspicion which Rachel kept hidden. She agreed to accompany Vega in his travels, but she would have to stay on her toes, keeping an eye out for sudden acts of hostility.

Smiling, she looked at Vega. "Where are we going now?"

(OOC: TNtickle, you can always assume that Rachel follows Vega everywhere he goes, unless she is instructed not to or unless I say otherwise.)

Hue already settled the problem with grabbing Rilina by editing his post. What more can he do to make corrections? Let it go already!

And when Kalamos said that Hue's chars were invincible, he meant that Draco and NR were far too powerful. Assuming that you went ahead with swooping down and picking up Rilina (and assuming that nobody complained), no one could have stopped you. Castorp and Luna don't have the means to stop you, and we have seen that the city guards couldn't do it either. This creates the impression that Draco and Night Raptor could do practically anything they want. Any persistent resistance from other chars would result in a non-lethal beating. A virtual wedgie if you would, even though you haven't done anything of the sort.

Finally Hue, were you in fact snapping at Kalamos in the previous page? Or was that a misunderstanding caused by a badly phrased post?

{Few things I need to say and that is all I am posting today. 1.) I am sorry for the 'threats', have gotten better now that I have played Mortal Kombat II for Sega Game Gear a few times, agressive behavior should cease from now on, 2.) I feel that some of my anger or agressive tone could have been prevented by (sorry for the singling out here) Kalamos if he typed and said what he meant, i.e. unable to stop Draco from taking Rilina and flying away instead of saying invincible, and 3.) 'snapping', ummmm, yes and no. Partly yes because of misunderstandings of wording in posts, and no for being tired of trying to go with the flow, but in the end, having that blow up in my face. The whole magic incident seemed to me to be a petty conflict. The more I read and re-read, the more stuff of "Can and Can't Do" becomes a bit more clear, but there is also a hint of fuzziness of the boundries and when one has gone to far. Someone correct me if I am wrong in this, but aren't RPG's supposed to be an imaginative plot. Role Playing Games, that title to me hints that the players use their imagination to create a setting, character(s), weapons, clothing, etc... but also have a plot like Grand Emperor Tucan gets killed and every one is trying to find out who did it, and once that is solved, the characters appoint a new Grand Emperor.}

This is a tickling RP, Hue. The motivations are different for a lot of the people involved. Some of us are just looking for opportunities to do some tickling, or to get tickled depending on the character. The goal then is to work that within the overall plot(s) that Kalamos and Cassandra are running. You seem to be trying to crush the world flat. Now there are games out there where that's the idea, but I don't think this is one of them.

I think that kind of follows in the characters people made. A character that can "destroy a town with a thought" is probably a bit much here. A lot too much, actually.

As for the "can and can't do", it's just Golden Rule. Play nice with people.

((OOC: First, I've always respected you're point of view Kal. You've put much thought and fairness into the game. Second, when I posted "bending" the rules earlier. It was not a form of snapping. It was intended as "willing to bend" or come to a comprimise. So I apoligize for any misunderstanding. Third, from my point of view I always support the DM's decision on any matter pertaining to the game (be it Kal or Cass), even though I won't post after every outburst. Unless it pertains to me, or my character. So, to show support, I'll second Cassandra's motion and just move on with the game. Play on...))

[I concur! That is why they are ... unable ... to perform that magic. I do believe that I stated that part of 'destroying towns with a mere though' in their bio's. That magic is a major one to perform, and since the minor magic of 'making a meal appear out of thin air' as be deemed 'over the top, & out of the boundries', the major magic of destroying a town with a simple though is OUTLAWED by default. Besides, (hypothetical here, I WILL not do this in the thread), IF Draco or Night Raptor were to destroy a town with a mere though, it would mean the end of them as well. Who knows which characters are residing in that certain town that might be destroyed with a though. Let's us keep the past buried and proceed to the future.]

Eventually Rilina settles back in to the wagon, sighing slightly and shooting angry looks at the people who have kidnapped her. She has such angry things in mind for them, horrible fates running through her mind.

Of course, Castorp would just be sold for farm work. But Luna, oooh...

Of course, these are just thoughts; she is the one tied in the back of a wagon, cursing and going back to screaming every so often; she is the one travelling with a girl who wants to tickle her endlessly for an accident.

"Well, they're not trying to hide, now are they?", Tanandra smiled from within her carriage. She had made good time, and had just passed by the cart carrying the two kidnappers and their apothecary victim. "Not the smartest apples in the barrel, I suppose."

With Ardenia in view, she would have enough time to arrange things. The local guard would be more than ready to take them at Brazorf's residence.

The carriage bumped over a rock, making Tandy jump. It had been a rather dull ride, and the road was uneven and crude. All she really had to do on the way was to think about what to do when she had captured them.

The bard could be left to the local guard - they had a jail and no doubt torturers of their own that needed to keep busy. And the escaped slave, well she would have liked to entertain both ladies, but was that really fair to them? No, she decided. Tickly little girls should have the full attention of their keeper. It was only fair to them. Well, perhaps she could arrange something on the night of their capture. Maybe the apothecary would help her work the slave over... from her cursing Tandy figured she was in the mood for revenge.

And the apothecary, oh she was the valuable one. All sorts of knowledge was in that brain of hers. They would have that long, long ride back (bump) and then back to her residence in the city. Plenty of time for fun and games.

Now the only question that remained: Would she let that tickly girl go after she had revealed what she knew, or perhaps keep her on as a personal assistant? One did get bored some nights...

(ooc: Oh, a little revenge for Rilina first. Tandy isn't completely heartless.)

((OOC: First welcome to the game xTx. I read your char. bio, and was very impressed with the thought you put into it. Very well written. But you probably knew that already. From your writing style I'd love to colaborate on a story line perhaps...after you've accomplished what you want to do with your char. at this point in the game of course. Plus mine at the moment isn't within range of where yours is. In fact I don't know how far away from the nearest village my char. would be. On a sidenote for Kalamos: I'd be more than willing to change the name of my char. if it seems to modern for the era you've planned. Nothing is ever written in stone bro. ;-) ))

Stapleton watched the starting of the betting of Katie and Albert, before deciding he could'nt stand it. To purchase another life, no matter how horrific the deeds of the two prisoner's intentions, seemed unplausable to him. Plus the way the one called Katie kept eyeing Makambo up was making him feel very uneasy indeed. With that thought fresh in his mind, he bid his newest allies, (at least that is what he hoped he could call them) farewell and mounted the back of the large War-Wolf. He turned back to the direction he thought Bisanthium was, and started off at a moderate trot.

After what seemed like half an hour, his soul felt more at ease now that he was well away from the strange woman, who had intended to capture his companion. As he bounced along though, the fear returned as a thought entered his mind. 'There would be more waiting to trap him.' If it could, his green face would have turned pale from the mere thought. The cold chill returned as he slowed the pace of Makambo to a steady walk. No...he could not return to Bisanthium again, until he was sure that it would be safe for Makambo. He brought the animal to a hault, and searched the trees for clues as to whether he had been there or not. His perception of broken vines and branches gave him the assumption, they had indeed passed this way before. He turned the beast left and headed South-West, hoping he would come across a stream or road that would lead him to the next village.

He looked up at the sky, taking note of where the sun was. He was sure it had been directly above him, when he took leave of Waylander and Night Raptor. It now seemed to be leaning towards the west. Hearing the panting of Makambo told him, he had ridden the animal for far too long. Bringing the great beast to a halt, he jumped down and took note of his surroundings. 'A satchel.' he thought to himself doing a 360 turn. 'Something to carry supplies in.' Funny he had not thought of this before. However being a dweller of the woods, all the necesary items were usually well in hand. They had normally stayed close to a water supply, but having foolishly pursued Waylander into the forest, he had lost his bearings.

Cursing a human word he had heard from the past, he trudged on. Searching the woods for a large leaf. It was'nt going to be easy, that was for sure. This land being unfamiliar to him, he had to rely solely on luck, since he did'nt know where the required tree was located. He cursed again, as he continued...his companion and protecter following wearlily behind him...

It seems that everybody here is trying to get rid of my poor Castorp and hang up with Luna! 🙂
But Castorp is my playing char, and Luna is just a NPC I made to create a decent background and interact with the other players.

I'm not going to play Luna in direct tickling action, I just don't like to play a tickled or tickling char if it's not of my gender. I mentioned tk in some scene involving her, but just en passant.

If someone wants to play Luna being tickled or tickling, that's ok, I just think it would be better if the player was a woman. But, if you feel like, do it.

Cassandra said she likes F/F and, if I got it well, Rilina too, so there is not much space for a male player who likes M/F and F/M.

If xtxlx is going to kidnap Castorp, Luna and Rilina (what about young Phenagon?), I would like Castorp to be brought in Asperum, hoping that someday some female player would like to play the role of a female tickler and torture him 🙂

Vega bent to retrieve his broadsword and immediately winced. He looked down to see fresh blood seeping through the crude bandage.

"While I admire your attempt to mend the wound, I believe I'm going to need some medical assistance. Luckily, nature can provide help easily enough. There are a few herbs and roots native to this area, that I can use to make a poultice. Yes, the apothecary is not the only one with knowledge of such things... perhaps you can help me gather them, Rachel?"

ooc... Tukano: Tandy's intent is mainly to "rescue" Rilina for her own purposes. Castorp and Luna would get arrested, but then being the clever sort would escape quickly and head on to Asperum. I believe ticklishrilina posted she liked the idea of getting captured again at the slaver's place (Brazorf's residence at Ardenia or Asperum, not quite sure which). Let us know, ticklishrilina.

Rilina probably wants a little revenge on Luna, so Tandy and her will have a bit of fun that evening at the prison. I could cover Luna for that particular bit, whereupon you can take her back for your journey.

Whereupon Tandy will have her fun with Rilina on the way back and at her residence, and then we can figure out what to do next. Tandy's alignment is tickling, her/F mainly (her/M if it works into her cunning plans).

Now alternatively should Castorp and company slip out of Tandy's grasp at Arthenas, well, she does know people at Asperum too. Why, she may have to stoop to just purchasing Rilina outright.

Taj: After the business with Rilina is resolved then I suppose she's open for new opportunities. We will see.

I am fine with being grabbed and getting a little revenge on Luna (although I am a lil subbie, as you might have guessed) or of making it to Asperum and then having xtxlx buy me, or some combo. Stapleton continued on his course of South-West for the majority of the afternoon. He had not found a suitable sized leaf for carrying supplies. But luck was on their side as they found a small clear flowing stream, near the evening. Sighing with relief, the pair found new energy in their legs as they sprang into the stream, gulping down the water in earnest. Having travelled such a distance, Stapleton was drenched with sweat, and threw off his ragged clothes to bath in the cool stream. Makambo waded near by, playfully diving at the fish when they swam near. It was evident, this was the happiest they had been in some time.

As the sun faded to the west, Stapleton had made a small fire with his stones, and had managed, (quite clumisly mind you) to snag two small fish for dinner. You would have thought the pair had eaten a meal fit for royalty, as they lay, lazily by the fire. The War-Wolf had fallen asleep quite quickly after his long jouney, and his master had used his hind quarters as a makeshift pillow. He was entranced by the dancing flames, and the slow rhythmic breathing of his faithful protector. He was thinking about future events as he fell into a fitful sleep...as the thoughts flooded his mind.

'It is becoming clear that I need to find employment of some kind. In this land we can't survive on our wits alone. Clear water such as this, usually leads to a village sooner or later. We'll follow the current in the morning. Hopefully with some luck, I'll find a leaf, or pouch of some kind. Too many things in my pockets can lead to unwanted noise, or uncomfortable weight. Hopefully it'll be safe for Makambo. Otherwise I'll have to leave him hidden near by. A good solid ally would also be most useful. Someone who will warn me of trappers or thieves. I should have stayed with Waylander. Why was I so quick to judge? Anger...that is why...anger at other species of life for wanting to take him away. For what purpose could such a gentle creature serve? More needless destruction, thats what. Fools...I'll show them...they will not succeed with such treachory.' The unusual anger in him, began to grow once more....

((OOC: Kalamos, I was thinking of heading to either Asperum, where it appears the next bit of action is to take place, or Santhium. Some background on either city, just to give me an idea would be useful. If this is going to take some time, I can wait, and just drag out his jouney for the time being...thanks))

I am not going to be real active in this thread but be assured that Night Raptor took a time out from the betting to say good-bye to Stapleton and to have a safe and happy journey. Hopefully, Stapleton and Night Raptor will meet again under peaceful conditions. I probably won't do any real posting 'til the New Year. About the Day/Location threads.

A big pain for narrators who run adventures with multiple players over a big gaming world is keeping the timelines consistent.

People are bound to get confused with who's when or when.
So, I am dividing the game in Day Threads.
Once you "flip" to the following day you can't go back to the previous. If you action potentially interferes with other players' actions, you must "freeze" until they catch up.

Every Day is further divided into Location Threads.
You can't be in two places at the same time; nor you can interact with players in different threads, since they are somewhere else.



Further Implications:

Once you resume gaming over the new forum, we [Cassandra and I] will be able to edit your posts [should dire need arise].

You can trust us to never do that to censor you. We'll only tamper with post to further gaming experience or storyline for everybody [or at least, for most of the players].


So, please post your new gaming actions stating where your chars currently are! 🙂
