Your character cannot be accepted yet.
It is not mandatory to create an Aygomen-compliant char, but as it is, it is out of place, just as an Imperial Stormtrooper would not belong to Middle Earth.

It needs adjustments before you can join.
It is up to me to suggest those adjustments.

First of all, game is about atmosphere.
You could join with a char named "Whimpick", but he wouldn't be taken seriously by other chars and players.
Something more classical-flavoured is appreciated.

Second, game is about setting.
Aygomen is a parallel Earth scenario with some magic.
No place for 12 gauge shotguns either.

Third, the background notes offer fairly detailed infos on the game world.
No need to create an orphaned char out of nowhere.
You can choose a country and a distinct flair for your alter-ego.

If you are lost for clues, just ask.

You can post you character's bio wherever you want, within the Tales of Aygomenia subforum.
I can move and merge threads, so *where* is the least concern.

The issue is *how*.
I'd urge you to read through the rules and corollaries, and get reasonably familiar with the game setting, so you can create a consistent and well developed character background story.

If you can make through it, you'll be ready to play.
Either way, welcome to the TTC forum.

Also, avoid stressing the "Elf freak" thing too much either: this is Tharagya and Aygos is just a week due southwest.

While not plentiful, Aygosian Elves are not too uncommon, even this north; Althwyran Elves would be - but they are taller, blond and ruddy skinned, whereas Aygosian are usually slimmer, dark haired and fair or lightly tanned.

An adult, fully developed woman, if she were a human in a true classical setting.
Aygosian Elves, on the other hand, do age slowly, and at 19, she'd look much younger.

Oddly enough, in most fantasy settings elves under 75 or 80 are considered minors.
Wonder if authorities will bash us now...

OOC: I always thought that was stupid, cause I can't see any way that someone whos been around for 75 years would only just be on par with an 18 year old human, unless they've just bummed their whole lives >.<

That's the magic word. Bumming. Or wasting one's life singing and prancing around mushroom rings.

Regular fantasy elves do that. That's why elven senate usually won't give them the right to vote until they detox and lay 'shrooms off...

For most elves this happens around 75.

If you were talking about physical maturity, they are on par with most humans.
If we are speaking of their mind... considering they live to 500 or 1000, 75 is just a drop in the Great Western Sea.

OOC: argh plz come on other thread. Oo; i had whole rpgs of mine die because of all this OOC'ing. Plus racism is off all times. Or specism in this case. Doesn't mean everyone thinks like that just this guy. (and in a lesser extend Valerios just to show he's not perfectly heroic)

I wasn't complaining about racism/specism, DV.
I was pointing out that Aygosian Elves in Northern Tharagya are not too uncommon, just as a German guy in Bern, or a Mexican in California wouldn't bee too far from home.

Sure, Elves are much more plentiful near Kaphraktos or Invaros, but few would consider them oddities, since the Empire is multiracial, and even backward inland Tharagya is familiar with them.

Hey everyone, back when this game started a year ago, I was running the Reynaldo Vega character... the were-human swordsman guy.

Looking to get back into the game, and more involved in the tickling side of things. Got the ideas there.

I can hook up with the main party of players, or the folks on the periphery looking for something. I'm flexible.

Kalamos, you mentioned you had an idea. I'm open for just about anything.

Reynaldo Vega is an Hybethian impoverished noble, hiring out as a sellsword in warn-torn Tharagya to the highest bidder.
Not surprisingly, he too bears the mark of the Arcane, and like Rachel and Sethos he can defy Nature's laws to a limited extent.

For this reason, Vega is currently held somewhere in Bisanthium, for questioning about his dangerous gift.

Willing to use Vega either as a tickler or ticklee. Back when I started all this, I was thinking maybe that being tickled's a fear of his, based on cruel older sisters or something of that sort.

Fight-wise... he's good with a sword, obviously, and has quicker reflexes and more strength than your average Joe--but nothing TOO over the top.

Then, of course, there's his little "transformation" at every full moon. Because of this, he's been a loner up until now, guilty with what he does in his other form and afraid of hurting people near him.

Melissana is a human female, 24 years old. She's medium height, about 10 pounds heavier than she'd like to be, with long red hair, and green eyes.

She is apprenticed (is that in keeping with the game setting?) to a unscrupulous baker. She worked hard for many years (longer than the usual apprenticeship, hence her age). She long ago surpassed his ability but he refused to end her apprenticeship, wanting to keep her for the easy gold her labors brought him. She finally realized that he would never let her go, and has fled with nothing but some food and the clothes on her back.

*looks around* Uh hope this is the right spot. Sorry I was busy, then I was reading, and figuring the board rpg. So heres my character, one small request can you tell me where I should post, and whats going on so I can find a way to come in. *Bows* thanks Kalamos

Name: Julius
Age: over 2000
Gender: male
Race: Half vampire
Description: Though he his over 2000 years old, he looks like a 20 year old adult. His face shows no sigh of any hair, or ruggedness. He wear jeans with two belts one slanted, and one straight holding up his pants. He wear a long sleeve, black t-shirt that has two buttons on the neck part. Over top of his t-shirt is a black leather jacket that almost touches the floor, as he walks it sways from one side to the other. Julius looks a perfect weight, his body neither fat, nor skinny. He has somewhat short blonde hair, his hair reaches the base of his neck though it seems to go up to a scertain fluffiness, he has clear sky blue eyes. The Jacket usually hands open, his shoes are regular black boots. On his back is long sword, his main weapon, and in his jacket are wooden needles. His hands usually with fingerless tip gloves. Among other thing found in his jacket like, his wallet with some coins in it(I'm pretty sure it was coins as money), a locket with a small picture in it, and a white feather.
Bio: Julius is usually a loner, mostly working as a merc, or bounty hunter. He doesn't remember much about his father, and mother. What he does remember is usually bad. So he tries not to think about it, though he is a loner Julius likes to be with others, and enjoy merryment. Being a Half-vampire he doesn't have such a bloodlust like the rest, he can live in the sun, and he has heightened reflexs that allow him to make his 5 senses stronger.
Misc. Info: Julius is pretty ticklish in aem pits, and stomach. Though he likes to tickle girls, he espiecally likes feet, which are his favorite spot. He carries the feather as a reminder, and to tickle girls.

Are you sure you checked the background infos? 😉

A vampire of sorts could fit; ancient legends did mention shape-changing priests, and blood sucking demons.
But you spent a lot describing an otherworldly attire, while providing little infos on your char's past and goals.

It always puzzles me: players devote more time coming up with a sleek appearance for their chars, while spending scant few words for their char's character.
Your chars are bound to change clothes more often than that, guys!
