I have the fetish. My body responds differently to each scenario though. I don't get turned on by the simple act of tickling. But I agree with Milagros as well.

I'll take a chance to tickle someone over getting "laid" anytime. Tickling turns me on, depending on the situation, but if I'm tickling a friend that I'm not intimate with, I enjoy the tickling by its self. If it's with someone I am intimate with, then it's foreplay for me.

Similar to MrMidnyte, my body and urges are different according to the scenario, but I've never associated my tickle fetish with the need or desire to get laid, either on the forum, or in real life, with friends or partners.

That said, it's a big turn on a lot of the time, but can be equally enjoyable with people that do not turn me on.

It being fun and needing to be sexual are two different things. I think it's amazing fun with a romantic partner. But it's too sexual to do with anyone else. I don't even like seeing it happen in non-sexual situations. It makes me want to gag--especially if kids are involved.

That's the one thing I hate about having it as a fetish. The power it has over me is upsetting. 🙁 It triggers arousal in me no matter what, and NO ONE wants to feel things like that in the wrong situation. That's one of the reasons I felt ashamed of this for so long and found it difficult to share it with a partner. I know it's not my fault, it's a physical reaction. But it still grosses me out.

I really envy people who have less of a fetish for it. I can't even imagine what it would be like to tickle someone you aren't attracted to "just for fun." It's a massive WTF in my brain. I don't want to do it, but I do wish I could be around people tickling each other without having to zone out and start playing music in my head or leave the room. I'm in my 30s now and I've accepted I just can't, but it makes me depressed at times. It wouldn't necessarily be better to be "normal" but I often think it would be easier.
