Two Truths And A Lie

New game:

A) I once got a speeding ticket on I-95 for going 76mph in a 55mph zone.

B) I once got a speeding ticket on a local street for going 41mph in a 25mph zone.

C) I once got a moving violation in Chicago for changing lanes without signaling.
 
A) is true. That was in 1973 and the fine was $63, three dollars for each mile over the limit. I was living on a $300 per month fellowship in graduate school at the time, so the fine hurt.

C) is true. That was in 1977. Chicago cops had a quota of tickets for moving violations to give out then, and this cop was apparently behind in his pace for the quota.

B) was the lie. That never happened.
 
New game:

A) My cousin Charles spent most of his career in New Jersey.

B) My cousin Charles got a Ph.D. in physical chemistry.

C) My cousin Charles had chronic problems with his mother- and father-in-law.
 
New Game:
A.) I have never been to Disneyland.
B.) I have never been to the Great Lakes.
C.) I have never been to Washington, D.C.
 
No. C is true. I went when I was in the 8th grade on our class field trip. It was a very memorable trip for many reasons and one of them was it was the first time I went away without my parents.
