Vampire VS Werewolf

Then we'll just have to give the Werewolves some Kryptonite to make it fair now. 😉 We can't just allow every modern vampiric retcon that comes down the pike. If a movie is released showing werewolves shooting laser beams out of their eyes will that count as a new power? The recent movies involving vampires making them into demigods is precisely why I hate them now. They used to be cool.

Werewolfs can blend in to an urban enviroment as well. If you wanna say Vampires can go into the sun, why not say werewolfs only transform in the fool moon? If they have the will to turn into and from a wolf then you would think when in beast mode they have more then a sense of self. And even in their human form they would be stronger, faster, and have a better sense then normal people.

People just need to do more movies about werewolfs, I am like FD. Bored of Vampires

Well they aren't so much like demigods, unlike how big their pride is. Vampires folklore does tell they are some powers (transmutation into bats, rats, or spiders, super strength and speed, keener sense), but when you look at werewolves they have almost the same power, they are just more vicious, while vampires have pride and noble attitude.

I concur. Taking away vamp. weaknesses is a modern trend and it really should not count as given.

Werewolves aren't popular... but any lady who takes them into bed takes a beast into bed. With vamps, it's taking a dead man into bed.

But not in the sense of the typical "Hot Topic, emo, my life is so horrible I'm going to cut myself and then drink the blood cuz I'm hard core like that, but I wont' really because my mom says I have to be home by 9 and if she sees me with marks on my wrists she'll take away my ipod" kind of vampire way.
Vampires may have been over glamorized, however, that does not diminish the truly frightening aspects of them. And over the years, alot of the "common" ways to kill a vampire have been weeded out. For example, in the book "Interview with the Vampire" Lestat is asked if a stake through the heart would kill him, he responds by saying that that is, how we say, bullshit. Now with the Twilight series, the once tried and true method to kill a vampire (sunlight) has been weeded out. I can only think of one real way to kill a vampire. And that is too rip the body apart, burn the body then scatter the ashes.
I choose vampires because of the human aspect of them. Mainly because if I were presented with the choice to become one of the two, I'd choose to become a Vampire. I want my mind to stay as it is.

Going with the classic vampire vs classic werewolf:

Then my money is definatly on th werewolf. vampires are weak and fragile, but strong of mind. Werewolves the exact oppoiste. however, they're driven purely by instinct, amknig them immune to a vampries hypnosis, and as tough and hard to kill as a vamprie is by normal methods, a vamprie would have no way to kill a hulking wofl man.
