Ticklefree:
You're quite welcome. I really hope you enjoyed the combination of text and artwork through VC. Will and I are also very interested in any feedback (likes/dislikes etc) from both facets, from any readers of the novella, so feel free.
DarthGrinn:
Take your time again, but I'm glad to hear you're enjoying Vermilion and her exploits so far. Keep reading, it gets more intense as you get further. 😉

Here's yet another bit of full-size, textless artwork from my illustrated novella, 'Vermilion Crescent'. Non tickling but I think the view might at least be...asking for it. 😉
This one comes from early in the story, where Vermilion quite skillfully defends herself from a pair of bandits from the infamous 'Dusk Blades'. Apparently the duo thought she was an easy target lost in the woods, some wanna-be adventurer who had to pay for inexperience.
They were wrong. 😉
A little work with her mannerisms, body and a few flashes of her blades and legs later and Vermiliion is left with one thug running off in fear and the other stomped safely under her sole, ready to be brought to the authorities for a sizable bounty.
That is, AFTER she's had her fun...which isn't so bad for the fallen Dusk Blade himself either. His expression soon changed after Ver suggested something...dealing with his position...
As always, I did the linework/design here, and my talented friend Will Georges was responsible for the excellent colors and very cool background in this one. ^^
