I'm really hoping some people on here can help me out here with this. 🙂

But i'm trying to put a tickling video clip on a profile on a website that i'm a member of. But once i add the video clip onto my profile and click on submit changes the video clip DOES NOT PLAY (not even when i click on the play button and it also DOES NOT start on Auto)

I was looking online to find a HTML Code to play the video clip on my profile. But once i add in the video code and the '' url '' of the video clip that i want to play it does nothing what so ever.

Here is the code i used:

< embed src="URL" width="320" height="240" type="audio/x-pn-realaudio-plugin" mastersound controls="imagewindow,controlpanel" autostart="true" hidden="false"></embed >

And all the video clips that i put in the ''URL'' space show up as a Removable Disk (since i got a Zip Drive on my computer) they show up as D:/''file name here of the video clip''.rm

(The music code is for RealPlayer by the way)

Any suggestions on how i can get any tickling video clips to play in my profile? (For the website that i want to use it on)

or Any quick changes that i need to make to make it work?

Thank you in advance

ps. I got the music code at this website if you want to look at it further to try to help me out with it. http://myspacehtml.cjb.net/

click on enter and then scroll down and click on Music Codes (it will show you codes for both RealPlayer and Windows Media Player)

It sounds like you need to first upload the clip to a server that allows remote hotlinking. If the clips are stored on your computer, you would have to set up the computer as a server for the clips to be playable directly from a link.

I tried linking a video (music) that was hosted by another site into my signature area awhile back, but that did not work either!

Stormy, this board isn't configured to allow html in sigs, so it wouldn't work here 🙁

I don't think it would work in profiles either. The only section of the board that supports html is the General Discussion forum, and only if the html is part of a message, like my use of html "img" tags to embed custom smileys.

that's to bad....I've got access to some kick-ass music videos! it seems as though if another source was hosting it, it would not put any strain on TT's server(s)...but then I'm no expert here. 🙁

You are correct -- it wouldn't put any load on TT's server; however, I believe that HTML code is blocked for security reasons rather than bandwidth usage. Some boards block "dynamic" IMG links too, limiting the number of acceptable image hosts. (This board blocks all IMG tags except in signatures because of problems with "page widening" inline images, lol.)
