This is the first game in the series that Cassandra doesn't wear sandals in one of her primary outfits.

That's awesome. Ever since I played SC2 I've wanted to see Cassandra fight in her stocking feet. I know I'm probably asking for too much, but I hear that characters can get some of their clothes torn off as they fight. Can you tear off their shoes as well?

Not with their regular 1&2p outfits, but if you give them a custom outfit (which can be identical to their 2p if desired) then their shoes can be destroyed.
