For me, it's a bad idea... As (adult) tickling is very sexual for me.
There was an "addition" to my wife family [he no longer part of it] who liked touching... very much.
In one or two family gathering, he sat next to me and my wife and he tickled her knee for a few long seconds.
I felt as equally as if he grabbed her breasts!
I was furious, but I said nothing... they love him and I am part of the family way less time than he was.
Fortunately, he is no longer part of the family, and very rarely attends any family meeting.
I know, I am a bad person.
Apologies as I know the original intent of this thread was to solicit the FEMALE perspective of what it’s like to experience being tickled while your spouse watches (hope I got that right).
Full disclosure - I am fully a MALE (heterosexual, married w/ kids in my 50s) just sharing some thoughts here. Thanks in advance for your kindness as I share them.

Having said all that…
I too find tickling to be quite sexual. Has always been that way for me even as a young child (getting erections at an early age, probably around 4-5 years old, and quite scary I might add, watching Sesame Street or Electric Company or any of the myriad of kids shows that invariably would show a woman’s bare foot on my TV screen or a woman tickled).
