Weapon Collecting

lmao! welcome to america, my friend! where you can amass an arsenal of weaponry, join the NRA, and be legally protected in the process.

i'm thing of starting a small collection myself, mostly for protection, but for now, money's been tight. i know guns are cheaper in florida, just saw an advertisement that one a pistol similar to the ones used in the movie Ultraviolet by the main character with an attached laser sight for just $235.

anywho, best of luck, mate.

Thanks! 😀 Yeah, I'm basically coming as a wide-eyed tourist who will take as big an advantage as possible over buying guns, switchblades, brass knuckles - all the stuff that's illegal here, basically. 😛

Again, welcome man. I've lived here in central KY all my life and have been collecting bladed weapons since I was around 13. I've got a pretty massive collection of knives, mostly tactical stuff. My favorite being a karambit blade known as the steel tiger, made by Cold Steel. It's a deadly little piece of work, and I intend on getting two eventually, as a combo would be quite awesome. I also have a few guns, nothing superb though. I have a Mosin Nagant 91/30, a cheap but high quality Russian production rifle chambered in 7.62x54r, and an Enfield .303 (can never remember the correct name of it, No. 1 mark 3 or something like that), as well as a Ruger 10/22 for fun. I also have a Rossi .223/12 gauge combo which is quite nice to have around as a just in case deal. I have a few links for you if you are interested in getting into firearms and whatnot.

As of right now I'm in the process of getting a hand crafted full tang damascus steel katana, hopefully to be the finalizer of my edged collection. Shit's getting pretty expensive these days.

Unfortunately, switchblades and brass knuckles are illegal in most US states, although a few states allow licensed collectors to have them. Nunchakus are illegal in most states as well.

Aww, too bad. I wonder if it's difficult to get a collector's license - I'll look into that. If not though, don't think I'll risk it.
