What's the first project?

We do a collage. Just a fun way to get to know them while kids trickle in and out of the room for the first week.

Do you consider yourself to be an easy grader?

In the beginning absolutely. We establish with'em how we grade and give them feedback more than anything. Then we become progressively harder.

How often do you let students use the bathroom during class?

As often as they want. They're welcome to come and go as they please (with permission).

How often do you have to interact with parents?

HAVE to? Usually on a daily basis with calls from them asking about grades, if their kid ever showed up for class, etc. LOL The usual.

Do you have a good parking spot?

Excellent. 😀 I park on the side nearest the exit from my room.

What is your favorite thing to do when you get home from work?

Kick off my shoes, make a snack, and check the internet for all that is amazing. 😀

What are 4 goals you have for yourself this School Year?

Goal 1 is going to be staying on top of kids better. We get a little lax as the year goes on. Problem is so do they.

Goal 2 is going to be coming up with some interesting new projects that are better than previous years.

Goal 3 is going to be trying to bring in food to the lounge at least once a month if not more often.

Goal 4 is to try to stay after more often so kids can have some catch up days for work.

What about this year in general?

I cut my teeth by using Paint Shop Pro wayyy back when it used to be free for like a 500 year trial. -- The interface of PSP and Photoshop are very similar, from what I've seen. But the question I have for you, is what are some of the most difficult tools to use in Photoshop?

Yeah they are pretty similar.

I'd say of all the tools I've used, the hardest for me might be using the liquify tool and balancing color corrections in conjunction with dabbling with the stamp tool.

I'm not exactly sure yet, something used, good on gas, and a good record for repairs needed.

I hope that it's a worry that will ALWAYS be in the back of their mind. Always. And there's no Bamf, only a BAR.

I think in general, some culture. The city is beginning to add more "artsy" stuff, but I think they need to expand and bring some heavy entertainment in. If there's one thing people are willing to splurge on, it's that.

There are stupid questions all of the time. LOL I just never tell the kids they are stupid questions so they aren't afraid to ask anything. I think number one off the top of my head was when I handed a kid a piece of paper and asked her to make a copy of it. She sort of paused then asked, "On the copier?" I really...do not have a clue where else she'd do it.

I don't think I've ever played Stratego, but yes, I would win.

The best job I've had is the one I have now. I've grown the most from this job and it has rewards more satisfying than any other. The worst was when I had a stint working at a women's retail clothing store. It only further reinforced my idea that most women are catty bitches, especially the ones you work with.

I really like making roasted chicken. The prep is sort of involved, but totally worth it. <3

Yiyiyi...hmmmm...I would remove all pubes from the entire world. I would mostly do it out of selfish reasons. I hate going into people's bathrooms and stepping around pubes on the floor.

If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I think that location-wise isn't so important as the details of the where. My details consist of living on the water in a close, small town (hopefully within an hours drive to a larger town). I would like to have nice summers and pretty (but not harsh) winters. I'd want to be near my friends and family. That would make me happiest.

I don't actually remember any details of most of my birthdays, though once I asked my grandma for a pony for my birthday (and very convinced I was going to get it).
