hmm, thats a tough question. its hard to put a 100% answer on... probably Sol Badguy from Guilty Gear. free, bold, and somewhat cynical.
on the other hand i see the gentleness and false naivity of Vash from Trigun. hmmm.

Hah, fair enough. I was thinking earlier-days Perrin up to about Shadow Rising or so for me anyway. I haven't been world-tested enough to go any further.

As you go on the story does get a bit convoluted, but I love that stuff. So Jordan went in the right direction for me. I used to get into arguments all the time on the WoT boards. People just wanted the simple bubblegum stuff.

If you get the chance I'd suggest reading on. There is some really awesome stuff that happens. It's worth it. The last book is going to be published. They have Robert Jordan's notes and they found a fantasy author to put finish Jordan's work.
