What if a professional producer made a 'free' website?

Sadly, Babyshambles is right about the perception. Of course, the kind of producers that hang around here making a long-standing community forum, and giving out advice and clips for free must, by definition, be exceptions.

Just as one example, I personally know someone whose sole business model is to put up a fetish site (thankfully, not at all related to tickling) and scam the ad networks until he is caught.

That's it. Make a few clips and defraud the advertisers until they catch him and shut him off. To my knowledge, he hasn't actually done more than talk about it, but there are enough of that kind of people to make advertisers (the ones with the money to give sites) break out in hives.

I wish it weren't so...

It's alot easier to make alot of money by shipping LSD by mail.

The whole free idea could work if they take a page out of the video industry book.

Take some website that offers free video services (especially for tv shows. the sites that let you download episodes or whatnot). They offer the services for free yet ask for contributions.

It could actually be pretty simple: Set up a donation fund. Determine what to pay models. When the fund hits the model fund amount: the producer seeks out a model and puts it on the net. Extra money is taken out each month to pay for upkeep costs to the server internet costs and whatnot.

It's a win/win. Users can have "free" clips, providing that everyone shares a little. $4-5 per person can land you a 30 minute video clip. Better than $30 (5 dollars per 5 minute clip) for 30 minutes. And the producer gets to tickle some random girl each month (or maybe multiple girls) for 30 minutes.

The generalization that pornagraphers are not morally trustworthy when it comes to the internet businesses is a little off track (but only a little). Tickling producers, for example, are considered to be in that industry and lucky for us all the ones listed here are very trustworthy.

HOWEVER, random porn sites on the internet are not. I can almost promise you that if you hit up 10 sites, 9 will be scams. Of those 9, 3 will infect your computer with a virus. Of those 3, 1 will prolly be a keylogger and you're screwed. The main reason? Most porn sites AREN'T porn sites. They are just some kid who grabbed random pictures and made a cool looking front page (enough to scam in some poor sap to look at their page) so they can infect your PC. Others, who are actually legit, really are set up with the idea of double charging your CC or other things like that.

Moral of the story? Search by referral only. You see a site you've never heard of? Google it. Sites your friends or people on this board praise (people, not person. If 1 person says it rocks and no one else says a word, be weary...) are usually worthy enough. Just make sure other people have hopped in the pond first.

That sounds more like a site-subscription to me than a free site. I wouldn't do it. Personally, I don't spend more than that amounta month on clips anyways, and then I can choose what I buy and what I see, and don't have to take whatever I get served.
