what is the best way to meet people here

I am a male lee / ler I love both sides, it seems like San Diego doesn't have a big tickling community like other cities, I was wondering is anyone had any tips on how to find lers or lees on here I haven't been able to get into the tickle scene in what seems like years and I am really trying to get back into it

Ironically, SoCal has one of the most active communities on the west coast. Head on over to the Gatherings forum and check out the West Coast gatherings held by DVNC (or any other stuff local to your area).

Also, be prepared for the gender ratio at said gatherings to be horribly, horribly skewed.

I've never been to a tickle gathering, but from what I've read people seem to suggest the gender ratio is a lot more equal to online places. For those who have experience of these type of things, is the gender ratio skewedness common?

Up here in NorCal we have a better balance than in most places, and it's still usually three to one in favor of the guys. We've also got a lot of male bottoms, so basically once the scenes start the few women who do show up disappear for hours so all the guys can get theirs.

You mean guys actually PM you like that? Wow. I'm always so nervous when I PM someone because I'm afraid I'll come off wrong somehow and creep them out, and I don't even mention tickling. It's usually like, 'Hi how are you? Forum post that made me want to PM them, Nice to meet you!' or something to that extent. Although even like that I rarely get a response. Is that creepy too somehow? I really hope not.
