What is your most nostalgic pre-TMF memory

Didn't really get fully into tickling until TMF, but two memories that stick out are:
1. Playfully tickling a friend in high school that I had a crush on (and she had the cutest laugh) and
2. Seeing the Tickle Chair in action on Howard Stern's old show and realizing I wasn't just into bondage.

Before the Internet, back in the 80s, I was in an adult bookstore in the city looking for bondage material. Not looking for tickling mags because I didn’t know that they existed. Then right in front of me was a magazine Tied & Tickled 😳 I couldn’t believe my eyes. Until that moment I thought I was alone. This one magazine proved to me that I was not alone. It was a great day and the beginning of my journey through the rabbit hole that continues today.

I remember, during the '90s (before knowing Internet), I used to watch some erotic movies like Princess and the Call Girl (having foot fetish scenes) or College dormitory, Eleven Days, Eleven Nights 2 - The Sequel, Piccoli Fuochi (Little Flames) or The Diary tetralogy 🙂

Earlier, during the '80s, I remember about a french movie called François 1er with a goat lickling feet of a man (even if I'd prefered it was a woman),
or also furtive scenes on other maintream movies like Robocop 2...

I started working full-time in NYC in 1994 when I was 24. There was an adult bookstore a few blocks from my office, and one day I went in during my lunch hour. I stopped in my tracks when I saw "The Contest" video from California Star on display. They also had a copy of "Tied and Tickled". Went in a few more times before I finally rented it. I had never seen tickling content before and I couldn't believe there were others out there who loved it. Two years later, I got my first internet account and found alt.sex.fetish.tickling and so forth. This was the beginning of a long process of becoming comfortable with my sexuality and learning to be open about it. Hard to believe how far I've come in that regard.

I remember how long it took to download a tiny video with terrible quality. I also remember how bad some of the early content was. Tickling Paradise was a breath of fresh air when they came along.

I remember, before having Internet at home, to have a small combo TV/VHS recorder and there were some erotic movies weekly on TV, and when I was lucky, few tickling scenes (even sometimes on some mainstream movies that I use to know for this), so I always had a VHS ready for recording.
Then, setting each of these VHS to the "T" time ("T" for "tickling", of course 😀 ).

With Internet at home since 1999, I was still saving every tickling photos, artworks and soon clips (when clips popularized, I've been more selective about photos).
With my first 56K modem, a small clip of 30 secs in 240p took around 30 secs to download... I've still got some of these old clips (like those from Feet Online, for example) ; then came longer and larger clips and movies with higher speed connexion...

Since the begining, I still collect tons of videos, even if nowadays, a lot of nice videos are already available for free in streaming.
If I discovered Internet nowadays, with also cell phones, I'd probably have a different philosophy about downloading...
It's as absurd as fishing while sitting on a ton of fishes 😀
Anyway, even nowadays with "big data" and the cloud, streaming videos don't stay forever, while they stay stored in my hard discs...
I often think that I don't really need absolutely all of them, but when I search some specifically, I know that I can get it anytime easily and surely...
I even found since then in DivX those movies that I used to record on VHS in the past 😀

Wow, all the memories are great. I still vividly remember going through the adult magazine rack at a convenience store who had tons of different publications. I had to dig through it, but found lots of foot and tickling related stuff. I would be so excited to rush home and retreat to my room to “study”! 😉

Goodness!!! That moment in college when I FINALLY found out that I wasn't the only person in existence that loved tickling was unforgettable. I remember typing it into the excite search engine for the very first time.

I also remember printing my favorite tickle stories in the computer lab, rushing to the printer to grab them before anyone else saw them, and then reading them in my dorm room late at night.
