What's in a (screen)name?

Well, we're both goths obviously. I totally understand the lack of sleep. It seems I don't even get tired until after 6 am. And even then I can be up by noon. I get pretty bummed sometimes that there's nothing to do at night around here, since that's when I seem to be most active. And then there's the interest in the occult, which I've dabbled in a bit too much to call it purely academic. Magick, ghosts, the paranormal... it all fascinates me. (To the point where I've considered going back to college and studying parapsychology.) So yeah. Kinda similar. n_n

Ah. "Dabbling" is a luxury I've never afforded myself. The closest I've ever come to crossing that line is participating in local ghost tours/hunts every so often. I've caught a few orbs on film, but little more than that...

Find anything interesting during your time?
 
All these wonderful names makes me wish I could re-name myself :/

Were my name Ken, I would grab that in ten seconds. Six if I weren't particularly tired.

But alas, I have a decent second screenname in case I decide to boot this one after however many years.

yea that'd be a great idea.i love paranormal investigations.i did a module in psychology n the paranormal last year at uni for one of my modules....was really interesting.soz to but in there.

Hmm, well. Kimiko is a character from the webcomic megatokyo, and my adopted long term name in games and such like. And I was lonely when I signed up 🙁 .

I wondered where Kimiko came from....always thought it had a certiain ring to it.Aw bless.....well you're not alone anymore coz you're chatting online to complete and utter strangers from all over the globe...pfft who needs 'real' friends?!!hehe
 
cool question...well, at the time it was because (duh) of my origins. Now, I wish i would have had it as sadcheeseball. XD

Wow...I just realized that my screen name sucks. Big time. Talk about lack of creativity. X_X

I chose random_noob because I knew I was going to fuck up the forum and be an ass eventually...and because at the time, I thought it was amusing to have a screen name like that...ya know, make a lame screen name like random_noob for shits and giggles. But now that you think about it...random_noob isn't really all that funny a screen name...

Oh and the 86 is there because I was born in 1986. =P

LOL thanks 😀 It has sentimental value as my gf (and favorite lee) made it for me. I've always thought of myself as part cat; having 3 pet cats and really being able to relate to em and all. Not that this community isn't short on cat-d00ds and cat-chicks xD But it's such a cute persona to have.

I remember seeing the slogan "I baked you a cake, but I eated it 🙁" under a picture of a cat at some random website I was surfin'. The site had a whole collection of cats doing random things with cute little saying like "I'm hidin' in the grass... bein a ninja!" or "I'm in your PC, stealin your megahurtz" n stuff like that... I got a big kick out of it, which inspired my siggy xD

Yeah, been there, had great fun, saved some pics!
 
Well, I got mine from a puppet that I vaguely remember watching on TV when I was a kid. It was yellow, resembled an animal of some kind and communicated entirely in squeaks. I have no idea why I named my screename after it.
