Whats the worst novel ever?

I agree that Old Man and the Sea and The Great Gadsby are pretty but books but Flatland has to be the worst. It was written by a mathmatician about how a three dimentional person is placed in a two dimentional world. It sounds like a interesting concept but the book is so dry it is the only one I actually fell asleep reading and not remember actually having read 5 pages. I didn't make it much farther with that book.

i HATED The Grapes of Wrath... i know.. kill me ;P I've never been a fan of Steinbeck's to begin with and having to read such a long, drawn out, nearly plotless story made me wish i could put my face in a meat grinder instead of doing a report of this book.
Catcher in the Rye was one of the most awesome books until the end.. or rather.. the lack of an end... the ending was stupid and made me want to throw things.

I hated a book called Kendermore. It was part of a series in Dragon Lance called Preludes. Kendermore is suposed to tell the story of what happened to Taselhoff Burfoot we he and his friends parted way for 5 years prior to the Chronicles trilogy. Anyway Kendermore is the place where Taselhoff (who is a Kender) comes from. Now I like Kenders, they are great when with a group of other characters. However a book filled with almost nothing but Kenders... not a great idea.

I like books that have a plot, get you hooked by the first chapter, no grammatical errors *cough*Twilight*cough*, and no sparkly vampires who get teenage women pregnant even though vampires are dead and THAT shouldn't work anymore, if you catch my drift.
