I'm not a fan of Hannibal , but his portrayal of Mason Verger was quite disturbing ... & excellent!

He was also in a movie called State of Grace back in the day which I kinda like.

But w/o a doubt , my favorite flick that "Old Man" Oldman has been in is the ever so awesome Leon , more popularly known as The Professional here in the States.

Bram Stoker's Dracula, hands down.

I second that! Also loved him in "The Fifth Element". Heck... I tend to enjoy all his projects. He's a brilliant actor who deserves much more credit than he receives...

Bram Stoker's Dracula, hands down.

Absolutely, positively. This was one of, if not his finest role, in my opinion. Bram Stoker's Dracula is still in my top 5 in terms of all-time favorite movies.

He's one of my favourite actors.

I hate to say it...But...The Fifth Element.

It's a cheesey choice, I know.

Everything about Gary Oldman!

My most favorite: Immortal Beloved, Bram Stoker's Dracula (hands down with Artoo).

Ever since I saw him in the new Batman movies I notice him in everything.. but I'd have to go with Dracula.

I would have to say I enjoy him as a great character actor. My favorite roles of Gary Oldman are:

Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Professional, Dracula, The Fifth Element, and Lost in Space

Bram Stoker's Dracula, without a doubt--but his performance in "The Scarlet Letter" is the one that actually hooked me. He's got such an amazing grasp of different accents--he did so many different ones in his body of work, I used to be unsure which was really his natural one. IMDB is my friend. 😉 LOL

Good thread! I am among those that believe Mr. Oldman receives far less recognition than he deserves. 😀

The Dark Knight.

Before that movie came out though... I would've said The Professional.

I also like Romeo is Bleeding... Lena Olin was soooo hot in that movie, both her and Juliette Lewis wore garters and stockings in that movie. I'm pretty sure Gary Oldman didn't though, sorry to disappoint you TV fans.(And I don't mean Television)

For me it is a toss-up between "Sid And Nancy" and "Hannibal". But if you ever get a chance, check out "Track 29". What a freakoid.
