As for being hopelessly bored, not really. Just a little let down because the holiday is over. It was a glorious long weekend.

I've managed to remain a college student since 1992. Done a few odd gigs here and there, but mainly i've paid for the privilege of sitting through 4 hour lectures and writing too many papers.

I am finishing my second graduate degree, so maybe one of these days I'll be qualified to do something.

P.S. areenactor....you should try Wisconsin!! Every day you pick up the paper and there are at LEAST 10+ job ads for nurses. We are so short-handed in this area it's not even funny.

Mimi's right...and a mindreader, as well. I'm in hospital administration in Wisconsin and I've been having a hell of a time filling a couple of RN positions. Get out of illANNOY and come up to God's Country...

most of my family is involved in hospital work of some kind here, and they harp on the same thing...lack of nurses all over the place! Q

Wow! I can't believe the variety of different occupations of folks in our "tickling community". We're "all over the place" in terms of both our occupations and our geographic locations. What a great group!

As to me, I am a Corporate Controller for a medium-to-large corporation in the banking services industry. I have my C.P.A. but have always worked in private accounting (as opposed to public firms).
There's an immense amount of variety in my job and some travel, so I'm never bored.

Now that I "came out" about my job title, and since I'm a "ler", I don't want any comments back trying to link the two. Well, OK, guess you can comment if you want. Let's hear from others of you out there about this subject.
