I like Hot Topic. They've always got neat t-shirts in there with sort of 80's retro stuff that appeals to aging 80's kids like me who played the original Nintendo and collected Cabbage Patch Kids.
Personally I find it amusing for all the "ready made identity" clothes. I see the dopey teenages running around the mall all in black with chains and fishnet sleeves cause that's "the look" that they bought at a store in the mall and they all look the same like they were just pumped out of the "Goth Machine". Just find it terribly funny. 😛

I am retired but don't do it my way, I broke my neck and back in a tractor trailer accident. I will give you one piece of advice from one who knows. No matter what you do remember two things. 1 do your best, no one can ask or expect more, and 2 if you EVER find a time you are uncomfortable with what you are asked to do DON'T do it. If I had listened to number 2 I would still be able to provide for my family. You take your own time finding something you like if it takes moving jobs once in a while so be it. Extremly jealous corruptess decided on ebcoming a Vet to late in life, now I work from home part time as a web researcher( harder then it sounds I promise!) I work during the day with a fincail compnay investigaing online fraud and helping trust clients with legal transactions, in school for my one true love above feet tickling and ladies in nylons...........COOKING!!!!!!!!..........which would explain my handsome figure

well first of all i want to say i agree with punkygirl that it takes more than very hot goth clothes to be a goth. to think that the clothes makes the man is a wrong way to think. as far me i do work i nretail and yes it sucks but everyone loves retail. you all hang at malls, shop at hot topics and shop at groccery stores. the only real bad thing about retail is you get these young teenage punks who have nop work ethic applying for jobs. it is hard to get good quality workers. most people are to stuck up to work retail like it is beneath them but the bottom line is that a job is a job

Errgghh I know what you mean! I spent a VERY ill advised 3 months with the obligatory teenage McDonald's job and I swear I was the only person there who took it the least bit seriously.
Same can be said when I worked at a miserably owned and managed podunk store in the mall that didnt last long.
I guess I just have a higher work ethic than most people. Or at least most people my age. Some Christmases I work at a portrait studio and I have been told I'm the sole reason the place doesnt fall apart in chaos. 😛
But pretty much without exception all of the young people I have worked with have been lazy, unmotivated, rude, and childish. Maybe their parents should make them pay some rent with their earnings. Then maybe thay'd take it seriously instead of just seeing it as a way to make extra money for trendy clothes and whatever ilegal drug is fashionable at the moment.

Hey, I'm rude and childish! Right now, I'm lazy, too. Since I'm 19, it would be odd for me to have a career. Oh, and I have a job, I'm just taking time off since I've been injured, and my job requires me to lift heavy stuff, and you can't do that with a gaping wound that shoots through your shoulder area! But I actually was thinking about a career in the medical field somewhere, because I have a strange fascination with drugs - no no, not doing them, studying them. 😀
